Okay Laz. Good point. Have been leaning the other way because of this ... the coming pain. The pain is going to happen anyway. That was my reason for let it fail. May have to reconsider my thought of let it fail.
The situation looks that bleak to me as well. Ultimately, I do hope that we will have some kind of revolution that will return this country to one of which we can be proud. Part of making that return will require some reassessment on the part of many who had considered themselves “patriots,” “conservatives,” and other good kinds of good Americans. While I have no doubt that the election was taken by fraud, Mr. Romney received fewer votes than John McCain received four years ago. We have no excuse for that, and those who refused to vote for Mr. Romney for whatever reason have destroyed this country as surely as if they were shredding the Constitution with their own hands. If we ever have a hope of restoration, we must be willing to open a big tent rather than a small one. We must stand on principles, but we must not define that stand so narrowly that we can never include enough people to govern “with the consent of the governed.” Fourteen years ago, Free Republic was a great place to gather conservatives and near conservatives of all kinds. Every election since then has resulted in more and more purges so that little is left. If we can resurrect the USA that we all knew, we will need leadership that knows how to build and not just how to destroy.
Some people were suggesting that conservatives move to red states. I think that could help, we are about to lose Texas and that’s a lot of EV’s. California would be nice to have but it is too far gone. Maybe if they collapse there is a chance to take it back?
I don’t know but that’s the only chance that I see. Pick the big EV states and take them over...consolidate. Take the schools back, network homeschooling and get very involved with local politics. That’s all I can think of. But we really are at the end. It’s not hype.

Obama voters are calling the fiscal cliff “scaremongering” and they are in denial about what’s coming...I call it reality.
I don't see this as being the case.
Pundits like to say that the US in the hands of the progressive will become more like Europe.
On the contrary, I see society and politics becoming much more like Mexico than like Europe.
The Republican party will change over time to resemble something like the PAN party in Mexico, and as such will contend successfully on occasion for the presidency.
The Republican party will not be like it was in the past, but neither will American society.

Well since that Reform was Passed about 65% of LEGAL immigrants to this country have come from Third world Countries,Those with dictators and with no Knowledge of what it means to be Free. So do you still think this just started a Couple years ago? If American men want to return to a Nation that respects and appreciates husbands and fathers as leaders - they need to stop impregnating every tramp who offers ‘free sex’. It is not free to taxpayers. These are not ‘unplanned’ pregnancies - they are planned payment centers...or aborted for ‘convenience’.
