We (all of us except the godless social democrats) hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
Godless social democrats don't believe in the Creator, nor do they believe in unalienable rights, nor do they believe in Equality for all men, nor do they believe in Liberty, nor do they believe in Life. And they have no concept of what "pursuit of Happiness" even means. They believe government holds unlimited power over us and can dictate how we conduct our lives and how much of the fruits of our labor we're "allowed" for ourselves.
The Declaration and the Constitution are just quaint documents from a bygone era and no longer apply. Worse, they are flawed documents written by evil rich white men. And they were never intended to restrict government or defend individual liberty, much less sovereignty.
The rest of the modern world has gone socialist with big government providing cradle to grave safety nets, free vacations, free health care, free abortions, free birth control, free sex change operations, free lunch, approval of homosexual marriage and whatever else you can dream of. It's a socialist utopia. No guns. No war. No violence. No poverty. And the bill will never come due.
They just can't understand why we right-wing nuts stubbornly refuse to go along with the beautiful program they have planned for us.
God forbid that a black person or a Hispanic person or a woman or a homosexual person would ever be a God worshiping, pro-life, pro-family, pro-small government, pro-America conservative who believes in our Founding principles or in equality, Life and Liberty or that capitalism is the system that offers the most opportunity for himself and his posterity. He/she would have to be an Uncle Tom or a traitor to the socialist cause.
Well, history has shown that the bill always comes due. And the bell may be tolling for socialist Europe right now. We won't be far behind if we don't hold fast to our God, our Constitution and our guns.
I agree and finally, even mr. mm is seeing the light and is motivated to do what we can on our house while we still have the money, while it's still worth something, and while the materials to do it are still available.
The idea is to get as self-sufficient as possible.
It won't be what I had ultimate plans for. It's too late for that now.

By the way, our traffic more than doubled on election day and the server held up very well after John installed the new nginx software package. We had 478,559 visits from 273,808 unique visitors and delivered 2,926,290 pageviews. We peaked at 214,298 pageviews per hour at 6:00 pm pacific. In the days prior we were peaking at around 75,000 pageviews per hour and couldn’t handle the load. We had been averaging just over a million pageviews per day. I’d say John did fine.

After the Depression and bankruptcy and ensuing war ... the country will be pro-life by mid-century. A poorer America, no longer a world power. But a Republic again. (In the meantime, the suffering that the liberal suburbanites will endure will surpass anything the church goes through. They are spiritually unfit, and unable to handle the coming adversity.)

The nerds never get the credit ... of course, that just increases our virtue in terms of humility, we tell ourselves.
In-memory application level dataset caching for probably 15 seconds or 30 seconds is the secret to going to 1 Million views per hour. Session level for configuration of the site for individual users, maybe some abstraction can be done there too. But it sounds like John has a handle on it. Fiddling with DB interaction during busy times is always ... not smart ...

And Obama has already stated that there’s no need for a congress either. He’d be much more flexible and could get much more accomplished if he did not have to deal with congress. Harry Reid agrees. Don’t need no steenking congress to pass a law. And Nancy Pelosi says you have to vote for it so you can find out what’s in it. Justice is not the only blind institution. The socialists have all the answers. Don’t need no little people interfering with their plans.
Jim, you are absolutely correct. The statist doesn’t recognize God, and doesn’t recognize that we have eternal souls. Because of that there are no inalienable rights and to the statist, a man is nothing more than a piece of meat, to be disposed of as the state sees fit.
