Other than getting his info from wikipedia, I am wondering what is the stall speed of the SU 25 at the altitude it was at. And if the Predator had any anti missile technology onboard.

The landing speed of SU-25 is about 160 mph, with fully deployed flaps. But a tank killer aircraft, such as SU-25, doesn't need to shoot at the drone. It is enough to pass near it, if the pilot is good enough. The drone probably will not survive the turbulence.

Perhaps they really didn’t want to hit it. It was a provocation. Just like the Russian sub in our waters.
