Lost in the shuffle:

Romney received Millions less votes than McCain did in 2008, proving that Sarah Palin did invigorate conservatives with her outspoken conservative viewpoints and proved the media wrong once again.

That’s why they smeared and feared her so much.

Yes and Romney and his staff were the first to start the smears. It may have helped if nominee was not willing to help Obama so HE could run in 4 years. His love of Country came second to his ambitions.

in re: the “more votes for McCain than Romney” statements circulating FR:

http://hotair.com/archives/2012/11/07/looking-at-the-national-exit-poll/

John Podhoretz: “As I write, Mitt Romney has 57.4 million votes. John McCain ended up with 59.9 million. It’s a little noticed fact that in two weeks following every presidential election, votes continue to be reported…by the millions. As I recall, Barack Obama got something like four million more votes in the weeks after election day, while John McCain got two or three million. It’s likely that by Thanksgiving, the final vote tally will show Romney very close to or even slightly exceeding McCain’s total.”

I love Palin so this is not a dig on her. Just telling you, our voters did not particularly stay home this election.

All of the votes have yet to be counted. When they are, Romney will surpass McCain in total votes. The true numbers won’t be known until around Thanksgiving. They are changing daily. CA has only reported 70% of its vote. WA 55% and many other states are still counting.
