Is Bachman the reason for Obama's 2nd Term? (vanity)

Posted on 11/08/2012 5:50:34 PM PST by indianrightwinger

Would we have had a mid-western son of a milk truck driver (Pawlenty) as our nominee has she not surged up until Ames Straw poll?

I am trying to trace down to the seed that germinated into re-electing Obama. That is the closest I have come. During this cycle, a more modestly wealthy mid-western governor of a Blue state may just have been the ticket.

Thoughts?

“No, we lost because 2 or 3 million who voted for McCain decided to stay home, and because 2 of our senate candidates are retarded about rape”

Well, they probably voted for those 2 senators because they think alike.

Given that the guy who lost the general beat all his primary opponents handily, I’d say any of those would have fared much worse.

You probably have a solid point in those states. And in the others, they stayed home, sad because they had no Akin to vote for. Lunacy ruled on our side if we could not beat this loser Obama even when he drew 9 million less than he did in 2008.

It’s no longer about ideas, it’s about race and ethnic identity...

This is wrong. This is a major, perhaps fatal error. It is all about and only about ideas--they just happen to be ideas we loathe and hold in such contempt we can't believe that millions of our fellow citizens have swallowed them wholesale. Ideas like 'deserving to gulp the fruits of others' labors because "we deserve a fair chance.' " You can take it from there.

It wouldn’t matter who ran because it’s fraud.

When voters complain they can’t pick Romney, that Obama lights up instead, then polling place should be closed until the machine is recalibrated & tested in front of bi-partisan observers.

When GOP monitors are tossed out of voting places, someone should go to jail.

When Election officials are caught registering people on the spot, don’t just haul them away, arrest them.

When VA keeps its polls open til midnight, which it shouldn’t, there should be observers dispatched to every polling place that stayed open.

The early voting crap needs to be stopped. A week at the most and we need to have monitors there as if it were election day.

Absentee ballots have exploded in number partially due to double votes from people with multiple properties.

And our gutless Congress should have fought for our military votes. We should never ever just shrug when our fighting heroes are disenfranchised. I still think they should sue the Obama administration for that ploy.

When you look at all these recorded events as a whole, you start to see how Obama won.

We continue to allow them to dictate the playing field. When I say them it is mainly the liberal. I have to include the republican elite as well. The liberals have the media we allow them to host our debates. We allow them to promote our narrative. To defeat the MSM is the mission. All energies have to be used to counter them. This is their loudspeaker. It has to be silenced. Right now they are digging the knife in us over the circular firing squad that we are conducting. Lets figure out how we can take out the liberal media. It can be done we just have to figure a strategy and or multiple strategies.

The real reason is the POS “Patriots” who stayed home to protest Romney. Thank you A$$holes!”

I have heard that tune before, couldn’t dance to it then and I d@mn sure ain't going to dance to it now.

We ran the guy who lost to McCain who lost to Obama, and you want to blame the voter?

I said before the vote that Romney would win if he showed a significant lead in the polls otherwise they would steal it, and they did.

You do not know if voters stayed home, you only have their word for it, that and a few fake computer thumb drives.

I read a book nearly 25 years ago called Vote Scam that outlined the plan, and now we are living it. Republicans have done zero to stop fraud.

Is this an effing joke? Tim “Milque Toast” Pawlenty, had he been the nominee (stretch), would have generated less than zero enthusiasm. Obama would have beaten him by over 20 points. Give me a break!

I am going to settle this once and for all. The last six sitting Presidents who were limited to one term or dropped out, Hoover, Truman, LBJ, Ford, Carter, and GHW Bush all had one thing in common (eventhough Truman and LBJ dropped out).

They all had serious Primary challengers, Obama did not.

I also wanted to mention that the lack of voter id laws in many states helped Obama and probably put him over the top. I think voter id laws are of primary importance in reducing voter fraud. Early voting also seems ripe for fraud.

Other than 'this might be the most pathetic vanity I've yet seen about the election', no.

Let me rephrase:

It’s about ideas.

For a minority, our ideas are formed based on objective, rational principals.

For a majority now, their ideas are determined by their identity, or by identifying with an identity.

You know, that is exactly what I think we needed, an even more mushy moderate that generates no excitement, has no exposure in the public an had so few votes, donations and coverage was the first to drop out. That we could have really been humiliated and beaten by double digits. I think you stumbled on to the solution. We should not embrace and channel Reagan, we needed another Dole. It's so obvious, I can't believe I did not think of him myself. Hey, perhaps he could have run with Michael Bloomburg as VP and have a real blowout.

REMEMBER, JEB BUSH 2016! Lets make it three in a row!

"No we lost because 3 million of us stayed home.

Then there are the ones that voted third party..

There is the problem identified. There are not more of them than there are of us. They simply got more of their group to the polls (living/voting twice/dead vote) than we did."

f Actually, the country is split just under 50% for Obama & just under 50% against him. Look at the numbers.

What defeated us was the stuffed ballot boxes of phony votes & voter fraud.

They had the voting nachines all set up & in many places locked the Republican precinct judges out.

Even the very best candidate would have lost this election.

We have to outlaw voter fraud with huge fines & jail time in order to win elections.
