Why? Obama promised to let those evil Bush tax cuts for the rich to expire. He said he wanted real spending cuts. He said that he didn't create the sequester and promised it wouldn't happen. He said that 10:1 spending cuts for tax increases was a grand bargain.

Let's hold Obama to his renewed promises!

let the tax cuts occur and the spending cuts to take hold. Then do a deal for Obama's signature Buffett Tax and all the glory he afforded it in exchange for sustaining our military (like Obama also promised).

Then some of the 47% that love free things from Obama so much will have some skin in the game ;)

Presactly. At least with sequestration we get some social spending cuts with our tax hikes and defense cuts. I am sure that, otherwise, any “cuts” will be quietly put back in later. Furthermore, under sequestration, at least the tax hikes will be across the board and right into Obama’s precious forty seven percent.

Ok I voted Romney . Saying first.
Part of me thinking of those suffering now who voted Obama in ‘08.
4 years is not long enough punishment . 8 would be better to help them understand consequences more .
Imagine graduating and not getting a decent job until your 30. Living with your parents till your 35.
It gives me some ease that the punishment fits the crime.
