Absolutely, if you have an honest Congressman (non RINO/RAT) it is their obligation to represent you in the "People's House".

Get an organized effort of Republicans to lobby YOUR Rep. You have the best chance with hand written letters, but you can double-down with e-mails and follow up phone calls.

Since they are your friend/ally, don't threaten them, but politely ask for a change in leadership, or ask who else is running for the positions. Start a dialogue with them.

If they want your votes again, they will respond or comply.

This is the road to a true single payer system.

If the state doesn’t establish an exchange, the residents of that state will go into the federal government’s exchange. Meaning the state will lose all control of health care.

By 2016, everyone will be getting their health insurance through an exchange—either a state or federal exchange. ObamaCare will have its tentacles too far into the system to ever be undone. That’s just the way it is. We’re stuck.

2012 was our only chance to undo it. We lost, by running a candidate nobody believed would actually repeal ObamaCare if elected.

Brownback is empowered by his strong conservative Senate and House majorities. Go Governor! The Rats ran against you this time and lost! My House District threw out a entrenched incumbent so-called conservative Democrat who was really a big government, high tax, big spending, union-backed liberal. We replaced him with a REAL conservative Republican. My mailbox over flowed the last 6 weeks with Democrat ads attacking Sam Brownback’s tax cuts.

I believe it relates to something like since the bill originated in the Senate, and it has been deemed a “tax” from the SCOTUS ruling that it is unconstitutional since financial bills have to originate in the House. I’m sure I mucked up the understanding a bit, and hopefully, someone else can add clarification.

There's also another revolt over Obamacare on the horizon, and it could have far reaching effects.

I have spoke to several people, many that are just plain stupid and voted for Obama that don't realize Obamacare has always been the first step toward a single payer system— and it's already starting.

I'm not going to argue over public vs private sector benefits here, but suffice it to say more then one small city in upstate NY has told their police and firefighters health insurance is on the table for upcoming contract negotiations in 2014 and 2015. After all, these cities employees can just use the health exchanges/Obamacare, and don't need city supplied health benefits that are in their contract.

Same thing is happening in the private sector, where employers will just not be able to provide private health insurance.

Needless to say, there may be a joining of public sector and private sector employees in a health care revolt. These smaller city and private sector employees were never given any waivers. And when you combine these small city public sector employees together all over the country that realize (no matter what your opinion of them) that their union helped support Obama and his policies screwed them over, you just may have a union revolt as well.

I'm not for HUGE public sector benefits. But I'll relish the day these employees turn on their unions that supposedly “support” them. And together with all the private sector people that will get screwed, it will be an all-out free for all. I just wish they would have realized this before the election! Also, many public sector workers don't even realize they even have so-called "Cadillac" health insurance plans and all that entails. So even if they keep their benefits, they're penalized.
