Hillary Clinton will step down as U.S. Secretary of State within 'days' of President Barack Obama's second inauguration in January, her spokesman said today.

Her long-respected(?) departure is expected by most Democrats to be a prelude for a White House run in 2016, when she will be 69.

The top candidate to replace her is believed to be Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts, Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and the losing 2004 Democratic presidential nominee. …

She’s done like dinner...never to run in another election.

I think Brown would wait til 2014. If Jean Francois takes the job, it triggers a special election 90 days later. Then a regular election for the same seat Nov ‘14. That would be four races in four years.

“I wonder if Brown would be interested in running again?”

Nope. Fauxcahantas Warren becomes senior senator and former congressman Marty Meehan of Lowell, currently chancellor at UMASS Lowell, takes Kerry’s spot.

John Kerry’s qualified, not many know that he was in... Vietnam.

I’m a year younger than she is. I cannot imagine the idea of running for president in four years. My husband is 70. Mr. Mercat is in great shape. He just left to ride 30 miles on a bike in the dark but I wouldn’t want him to be president. Just saying.

“The top candidate to replace her is believed to be Senator John Kerry”

He can do a second apology tour. Will never forget the lying SOB saying he had witnessed and participated in war crimes in Vietnam. Half the “vets” that testified either had never served or had never sat foot in country. But Kerry managed to win a Silver Star and four Purple Hearts, AND witnessed war crimes, while in Cambodia (another lie). He did a lot in the 4 and half months the big nosed SOB Herman Munster look-alike spent in-country. Well hell, he was just another Audie Murphy. I despise the lying SOB.

Sure, everyone knows Hillary lives in Washington and Bill is in Westchester NY—when they are not jetting all over the place. How many times have they played out “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf” played out with flying lamps and cocktail glasses whizzing by? If Hillary is not going to run, he will want to “FREE WILLIE”. They would both be finished politically at that point—ready to pursue young RAT feminists in public from the Riviera to the Hamptons (BOTH OF THEM!):)

Bill has lots of attorneys to clean up the mess.

Here’s to the democrats doing whatever most ticks off the traitors that did not vote for the Republican.

The only satisfaction an intelligent person could get out of this cluster is if the ones who shirked their duty get what is coming to them.

Kerry will fit right in to the radical leftist tack the poor old U S of A is currently taking.

He'll be just the anti-American goon to handle the Behnghazi outrage as it finally moves into the public spotlight.

Hillary Clinton due to step down as Secretary of State

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good. After all, she’ll be too busy to do her SOS business as she will be before grand juries, congressional hearings and special prosecutors testifying as to her role in Benghazi-gate.
Then she and Obastard can look forward to adjoining jail cells.
(I know, I know. I’m dreaming)
How many of you remember HIllary's involvement with the Watergate committee? Where she crafted the document that would not allow President Nixon the ability to have a lawyer as he went through impeachment proceedings.
This whole Benghazi mess probably has Hillary sitting vulnerably close to Nixon, as she sees it. If she sorta thought about quitting after the BFN's second term, Benghazi probably made it definite.
I would love to see Issa give Rodham the business.
“I think the rats will run Biden in 2016.”
I hope so. It would answer a question I had.
I was curious as to whether this country could get ANY sillier than re-electing the Won.
President Biden. That would be sillier...
Marco Rubio will be ready by then. Normally I would rather have a former governor—but look at the jackass we have now.
