He’s right. An embrace is usually done from the front and the lips are not used.

I wrote the next bit in response to a previous claim by Christie that he "worked harder than anybody else" to get Romney elected. At least he's now waddled that back to "I didn't exactly embrace 0bama." Small victories. He's still a putz.

[

Chris, Chris, Chris, simply because you expended more calories just climbing the steps to the lecturn for the Republican Keynote Speech than anyone else including the candidate did during the entire campaign does not make one the "hardest worker" on the basis of anything but biophysics. And let's face it buddy, it's not like you actually had any choice if you ever wanted to address a national audience.

Everyone noted how you blathered on about yourself and said nearly nothing about your party, the party's nominee, or the opposition. Everyone has heard the stories about your sub rosa criticisms of the VP selection process ("I wasn't picked. Couldn't have been very thorough.") The whole country watched your effulgent grandstanding with the flailing standard bearer of the opposition party, despite the fact that he delivered NOTHING but promises. Everyone is noting how, even now, as FEMA thrashes cluelessly about with thousands of your freezing, hungry constituents wondering where the hell the relief they promised was, you have chosen to respond to your Republican critics rather than advocate for your citizens.

But most of all, we must thank you for your Chrissy Matthews' moment as you blubbered over the trifling attention of your has-been, no-talent idol, "The Boss." That bit of unrequited faggotry was the proverbial cherry on top of one of the most truly cringe-worthy performances in the history of American politics.

And it isn't even the gubernatorial primary yet!

I don’t care what you call it Christie. I believe your actions cost Romney the election.

Way too demure.

And even this old favorite isn't quite forceful enough in telling Christie what to do (for my taste):

Christie—you traitor—your weepy eyed embrace of Obama—was a stab in the back for Romney. Get out of the GOP! Go join the Democrats where you belong and suck up the union paychecks. Acts like this will only get Obama’s contempt—You will be out of office soon.

Apologies to Michael.

I like the way that Christy speaks in a straightforward style but other than that he’s a super squishy RINO ala Scott Brown.
I hope he suffers the same fate if he aspires to higher office.
