The “Balkanization” of America now requires that office seekers pander to all narrow special interest voters to secure their support. Have we become so selfish and self-interested that we now no longer concern ourselves with what the Founders called “…the general Welfare…”?
It’s what happens when a nation fails to secure its borders, allowing in those who not only do not even speak the language but have no understanding of the traditions, mores, folkways and HISTORY of that nation and fail or REFUSE to assimilate. And that millions of them are here ILLEGALLY makes fools of those who stand in line for up to 10 years to come here legally!
There is good news and bad news:
The good news: Obama now inherits a mess of HIS creation.
The bad news: That mess will impact us all and, as a marxist, he will use the ensuing misery and turmoil to further infringe on our declining freedoms.
More good news: Obama may have no choice but to “compromise” with a pubbie House (assuming Boehner has located his spine).
The bad news: For Obama and the Democrats “compromise” = “CAPITULATION” to Democrat demands that Boehner, et al abandon their principles… Oh wait! (Can someone tell me what those are?)
There is much chatter on the net among conservatives and libertarians to “Go Galt.” If you’ve read “Atlas Shrugged”, you understand the reference to John Galt who, when confronted with statist tyranny, dropped out and refused to participate or contribute to the thing. We’ll probably see a good bit of that over the next 4 years as the producers say “To hell with it”. And talk of secession is also abroad in the land!
An interesting Going Galt activity we saw a bit of when Barry was elected in 2008 was employers culling their workforces of Obama supporters. The 2008 culling was a little risky as it subjected the employer to possible NLRB action that such dismissals were based on race or politics. That risk is far less now that Obamacare employer costs loom on the horizon. With millions of unemployed, employers should have little trouble replacing these fools with more productive, more intelligent folks.
And another Going Galt mechanism is to organize mass boycotts of the so-called main stream media (you know who they are) and their paid advertisers. As painful as it will be for me, I’ll devote a little time watching these mendacious morons to compile a list of them. If you’d like to have that list, I’d be happy to share it with you as it grows. I’ll try to include contact information for them so you can send them your thoughts on various matters.
Of course, the KEY question is “How the hell did we get here?” We got here in large part because the humanists/marxists/”progressives” have devoted nearly 100 years of diligent effort to install their twisted, utopian, dehumanizing worldview into ALL the major institutions of this nation. Decades ago Dr. Gary North told us that they “…captured the robes.” By that he meant that a traditional symbol of high authority and rank in the big 3 vocations/life callings (the clergy, the judiciary and education) in Western culture is a robe. From the lowliest government run grade school to the Ivy League, Marxist/socialist/”progressive” philosophy (I almost said “thought” until I realized “thought” doesn’t belong in the same sentence with those terms) rules the day.
And here’s a genuinely fascinating – and prophetic -- aspect to all of this: These double-domed professors and so-called “journalists” in the alleged mainstream media who have facilitated the rise of an unvetted marxist and his Chicago thugs and cohorts have apparently failed to understand the histories of tyrants. Once they had consolidated power, Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Castro and Pol Pot (and many others) ALL ELIMINATED those who aided their rise to that power LEST THEY BECOME THREATS TO THAT POWER! (Gee, that may also be good news within an otherwise bad situation!)
Can’t happen here? Riiiggggghhhhhtt!

Mr. Jefferson’s concerns go right to the heart of the questions of uncontrolled immigration and, in Obozo’s case, natural born citizenship, don’t they?

The only thing we get out of this is we all know whats coming these drones do not have a clue and I believe most will not care. The republican party will not get a dime from me ever, boner couldnt wait to capitulate on raising taxes, they forced romney on us like Mccain. We are toast as a nation, shame on all you that didnt vote, shame on all of our reps who sat back and watched and shame on all who still believe the liar and chief, wont you be surprised in the next few years.

For a time, I referred to obama as "that son-of-a-xxxxx" or something equivalent. I have come to realize that there are only two words that work in all cases when talking about him--evil and obama. To describe him using profanity only profanes myself.
In American politics he is a singularity. Calling him obama will be adequate. No capital needed, not even to start a sentence.
Some of those "vanities" have been better that the postings of the professional scribbling class.
We are no longer concerned with the “general welfare”, but instead with “welfare in general”.
Pay no heed to that jerk. He’s been in to take a dump on everybody who posts a vanity, and frankly I like them because we get good, honest analysis. We all have a lot to get off our collective chest.
I can’t go any more Galt without cancelling internet.
