Romney did not address the China issue properly. It put Asians on the defensive.
Today- The ‘manual’ Caruso-Cabrera (CNBC) on China’s new leadership plan mentioned ‘free markets’ numerous times. Interesting changes going on there.

100% of my business dealings as well as my partner are in Asia. That being China, Vietnam and Malaysia. Lumping them all together in that article is completely wrong. Vietnamese here are much more Republican leaning and the Chinese Americans this election cycle more Democrat leaning much of it do to Romney’s comments (not that he made them they know he’s right and will tell you so BUT how he made them) My US office is all Chinese and Vietnamese except for me I speak the languages and have residences in both counties. I know these people and knew that Romney blew it the first time he brought up China in a speech.
By no means do I think he was wrong, he just didnt need to do it the way he did. I have taken advantage of the currency exchange for years and profited from it. It has enabled me to provide competive product here than creates 10s of thousands of jobs versus the 1800+ employees I have overseas.
Disagree with me if you want but Griswold3 is on the mark.
