Virginia store closes for a day to 'mourn the loss of America'

Virginia's 13 electoral votes went to President Obama for the second straight election, and the proprietor of a store in the south central city of Bedford is not hiding his dismay.

Lyons Jewelers hung up multiple signs on the windows of the shop indicating the shop would not be open for business Wednesday, including one saying the store was closed to "mourn the loss of the America that our forefathers endowed to us," WDBJ reported.

"Lyons will reopen tomorrow to continue the fight against a president who seeks my demise" and "Shame on VA & USA" read two other signs.

Another played off a remark Mr. Obama made while campaigning in Roanoke earlier this year about businesses and government assistance that Republicans latched onto as a campaign theme: "I know I didn't build this — God did."

Virginia store closes for a day to 'mourn the loss of America' 'call attention to the fact that there are now two Americas'

Abe will explain from "the other side."

You initiated a policy to tolerate the Marxist-Alinsky radicals and let them rant; not only has it not ceased but was constantly augmented by decades of infiltration and indoctrination. You now have two Americas. In my opinion, it will not cease until a crisis shall have been reached and passed. "A house divided against itself cannot stand." I believe this government cannot endure, permanently, half statist and half free; I do not expect the house to fall; but I do expect it will cease to be divided. It will become all one thing, or all the other.

Obama is a biological-ideological issue of those 1960s Marxist-Alinsky campus radical, psycho spoiled brats.

It would be a great trend to see THOUSANDS of stores
with a sign like that. Unfortunately, what you can be sure
of is that
we’ll see is many more thousands of businesses shuttered than we’ve seen for the past four years, but not bearing
and signs except CLOSED, GOING OUT OF BUSINESS, OR EVERYTHING MUST GO! Somewhere along the way more Americans
will catch on, and on top of all the other bad news this Admnistration will have falling on their head AND OURS,
the hopeychangey tide that is getting a second life will start its backflow.

Many of us in a group of patriots have decided to start to “starve the pig” by having a moratorium on spending, especially re typical Christmas spending. Starting Dec. 1, our only spending will be for necessary food, clothing and utilities. No Christmas gifts among ourselves or for others except what can be made or recycled from stuff already on hand.

The less merchandise that is sold, the less taxes to feed the pig.

We’ll be cancelling our Comcast Xfinity TV, as it’s owned by NBC (I hadn’t known that earlier!).

Food stamps aren’t worth much when there’s no place to redeem them. Remember the long bread lines in the USSR?

Saw the story on my local news last night (we’re about 45 minutes east of Bedford). Notice the black Obama voter who tries to turn it into a civil rights issue.

I am John Galt.

Back when Bush was President, I belonged to a local freecycle group on the net. And things were flying back and forth, I couldn’t keep up with all the e-mails in my inbox of people giving away stuff.

Since BS has been _resident, the group is DOA.

I made that decision first thing yesterday morning. Told the wife we will only buy needs, not wants and she agreed. Screw em.
