The Pony in Obama Winning a Second Term
LloydMarcus.com ^ | 11-8-2012 | Lloyd Marcus

Two boys were assigned to shovel a stable full of horse manure. One of the boys was depressed. The other enthusiastically shoveled with glee. “Why are you happy?” asked the depressed lad. His happy associate responded, “With all of this excrement, there must be a pony in here.”

As a Christian, I must trust and believe that God has a pony in allowing Obama to be reelected. Therefore, I will not join those who think we have lost the battle for America. Nor, do I subscribe to the nonsense that our Tea Party values are extreme. Our values are aligned with the human spirit. They are right and just.

In a recent article, I said Obama appeals to three groups: the clueless, entitlement addicts and racists. While entitlement addiction and racism played a role, I believe the vast majority of Obama voters are clueless because the mainstream media protected him.

Obama winning a second term is insane. Based on his horrible lapse in leadership regarding Libya, attacks on Christianity, attacks on business, assaults on freedom hidden in Obamacare and crimes against our Constitution, an informed America would not have given Obama four more years.

Like you, my fellow patriots who love America, Mary and I are hurt, disappointed and a bit mopy. But my resolve to fight to restore Godly principles and freedom back into my country is stronger than ever.

God is still in control and things can turn on a dime. In the Bible, Joseph went from being eternally doomed to prison to standing before the King in one day. That meeting led to Joseph becoming a ruler, second only to the King. God always has a plan.

Patriots, we have much work to do. Along with informing a clueless public, we must drag a weak-kneed Republican Party back to supporting the Tea Party principles and values that won them the House in 2010.

At risk of infuriating those who are so depressed by Obama's victory that they require suicide-watch, I believe God has a blessing/pony hidden in Obama winning a second term. My faith requires that I trust God.

Some say this election confirms that we have become a nation of entitlement junkies. I think not. Despite the left's best efforts to spin the election to mean the American people support Obama being the Robin Hood president, most Americans instinctively know that Redistribution Road does not lead to a prosperous nation. I believe many Americans are simply clueless of the truth and what is truly going on under the iron fist of the Obama Administration.

As I stated, we have much work ahead and must defeat three mighty foes; the Obama Administration, the mainstream media and a Washington establishment-minded Republican Party. Admittedly, our task is Herculean.

However, God and us are a majority.

I'm thinking that the neighbors of Lot, in the city of Sodom, saw what the crowd was demanding of Lot, and then saw that Lot and his family were fleeing the city, and the neighbors probably said, "There's probably a pony in there somewhere."

I trust in God. I know that He is merciful. But I also know that He is just, and that America has turned away from Him. There may be no pony for us.

I actually typed this comment for another thread, however it is more fitting here.

Thank you for the reminder.

There is no question in my mind that we are entering the beginning times. I prefer not to call them end times as they are not end times any more than a pregnancy is the end of life. We are entering a birthing period that is very painful, but necessary. Remember, you can’t put new wine into an old flask or patch an old garment with new cloth. You must get rid of the old as a person that is full of himself has no room for God. That is what is happening right now.

If we lower ourselves to the level of those we oppose, we become like them and we too will be destroyed. Remember Jesus’ words when He was being persecuted, “Forgive them Father as they know not what they do.”

Yes, there is global warming. but it is not man made. Just as giving a prayerful blessing to an evil person is like placing hot coals upon their heads, and just as the weeds in the wheat field will be burned, we will only lose if we too become weeds. Right now, the presence of the Holy Spirit and Divine Grace is stronger here on earth than ever, and increasing every moment.

Remember how Daniel was not harmed by the fire but the guards who threw him into the furnace were killed? Or Justin Martyr or Polycarp who according to the Roman court records, had to be pulled from the fire and stabbed to death as the fire they were place into did not harm them.

I personally expected Obama to win as the signs of the times were too strong and Romney to the rescue did not fit the sequence of events or timeline unfolding. I have sorrow what happened due to the difficult times ahead, but joy as it is a sign that we are in wonderful times ahead.

I grew up very, very poor and can live that way again. While I have gratitude for the many blessings bestowed upon me, I would let them all go today to return to communing with my Father. There is no choice. Having died and returned here, I can say that with no reservations.

Always remember, God is in control and everything is unfolding exactly as He planned. Years ago I was doing a lot of demonic deposession work. For some reason unknown to me, I can communicate with ghosts and spirits easily. I had a personal war on darkness. When I would encounter a demon or dark spirit, I would work my way up the chain of command structure, capturing each higher commander until I got close to the top. Each of these I would redeem as Lightworkers by pointing out the lies they lived by and helped them lose their fear, and then send them to the Light. After working to the top of the command using a single command line, I would redeem the top commander and have him call out to all those under his command to come forth and be redeemed. All hell broke loose one evening as there were hundreds of thousands of dark spots coming forward, each encapsuled in a bubble of Divine Light, all floating upward. Suddenly the room got freezing cold and there I was, face to face with satan. I turned to Michael and said, “There he is. You can get him!” To which Michael replied to me, “It’s not time yet.”

That was the end of my personal war on darkness as I realized that God was in control and what was happening was exactly what He had planned. Remember, God created the demons too. Things are happening right now, exactly as Peter described in Acts 2 when he was quoting the prophet Joel. It’s time. Hang onto your hat and keep looking up. We are in the springtime of soul growth and it is my prayer that everyone starts working in the vineyard prior to the end of the day.

Blessings

Both the establishment and Tea Pary each had some crappy Senate candidates in both 2010 and 2012.

The real problem in one word: Hispanics.

If we don’t find a way to relate to this bloc, we’ll never win another presidential race.

The situation is infuriating - they are family people, Catholic, pro-life but they evidently cannot comprehend capitalism. Somebody please explain to me. I am told Hispanics are industrious, proud people - how the Hell does this align w Obama?

America needs to crash and burn. Then, maybe, the idiots, dolts and morons who keep voting for the “progressives” will finally wise up.

With the democrats in control of the entitlement society, the Republic is lost.

I believe Benjamin Franklin said...
“When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic.”

230+ years as a beacon to the world, it’s been a good run.

Keep digging.

I don’t think he’s a hands off operator, but you probably won’t see the results in your lifetime. If the Old Testament is any indication, God thinks in terms of decades and centuries rather than election cycles.

Grover Nordquist was just on CNBC and said that the re-election of the GOP controlled house was more important that Obama’s re-election. The reason is that the GOP was re-elected on its pledge not to raise taxes and passed budget legislation aimed at reducing the deficit and restoring fiscal health. Obama, he said, ran on personal attacks on Mitt Romney and had a slender margin of victory. Thus, Obama’s re-election only means the public wants him “to be not Mitt Romney.” I thought it was a nice analysis of the election outcomes.

God has shed his abundant Grace on this nation, time and time again. And perhaps He will continue to do so.

But I don’t think there’s much doubt that we as a nation have forsaken Him in many ways. If He were to abandon us to our fate, until such time as we have seen the error of our ways, there would a measure of Divine Justice in it.

I certainly do not know the future or presume to guess at God’s plan. But I can not shake the feeling that there is a Reckoning coming, and that it is well deserved.

Bless you, Lloyd. You are a good man and I hope that you are right.

I think the signs are unmistakeable that each of us, individually, should make sure that we are 'right' with God. As another FReeper said yesterday "We have forsaken Christ, and forsaken His Word. God did not have mercy and deliver us. I believe we are under the judgment of Almighty God as a direct result of our ongoing lawlessness, ungodliness and sin. He has given America over to our sin and degradation (cf. Romans 1:18-32) and we have reached the tipping point of no return as a nation".[Jmouse007]

Obama, he said, ran on personal attacks on Mitt Romney and had a slender margin of victory.

The sad notion is that we know that Romney got less votes than McCain. I guess the bottom line is that if had receveived the McCain vote, he'd likely be in office right now. Just another reason we need conservatism.
