There is still time for him to leave office a broken, bitter, reviled and detested being —that does give me a small glimmer of hope.

Eventually something is going to catch up to Obama...most likely economic. They were somehow able to bolster the ‘recovery’ claim, and ignore the impending disaster to get through the election. Our DC elite package it up as ‘the fiscal cliff’, but whatever they do just will kick the can 6-18 months further down the road. It is clear, we can’t do anything to solve the underlying problems, because the big government statists just got another 2-6 window to do nothing.

And like other modern presidents, Mr. Obama must cope with a “snarky” news media, said Mr. Smith, the George Mason University scholar, which glare at a president, magnifying anything that looks like success, or, especially, failure.

??????? Mr. Smith of GMU has been partaking of the Obamazombie Kool-Aid.

From the article:

And while that hurt Roosevelt politically — Mr. Smith said he “shot himself in the foot” — he followed with an even worse decision, cutting federal spending in the belief that the Depression was conquered. That brought on a deep recession. With that decision, Mr. Smith wrote, Roosevelt “shot the country in the foot.”

Thanks to stupid comments like this, this is why we will never get out of this debt bomb.

he’s coming into this with extraordinarily low expectations from half the elctorate to whom he revelaed his incomeptence compared to Romeny

plus he has low favorability except with the Beyonce-Hollywood set and the honey boo boo crowd.

Even the MEdia knows he’s a soros-installed pig wearing lipstick

but really, how could a second term be “less successful” than the past 4 years? An outright Depression?

The only entertainment will be watching him keep reaching into the “Bush/GOP Congress ate my homework” excuse box for another year before no one but NO ONE buys it except the kook fringe

BOzo’s 2nd term curse is that he’s going to be sitting in the seat when the decisions he’s made come home to roost. BOzocare alone is going to be like opening Pandora’s Box. Most people don’t have a clue but they will.

If Rs play it right.

Remember how Dems took on GWB in 2005 and 2006 after getting their clocks cleaned.

Start with holding out on the automatic spending cuts and tax increases. Make O come up with a deal that his Dems absolutely HATE.

and cut out the closed room sellouts

As long as the MSM props him up he will be seen as a “great President”—But if they turn on him—he will not last 6 months. He will be destroyed by the leftists not the GOP.

No, it wasn't cutting federal spending that sent the economy into another depression, it was the bubble created by the New Deal.

The one good thing about Obama getting reelected is that he now has to own the economy, he can’t blame Bush any longer.

It’s sad isn’t it? Sad that the GOP is as ball-less as a box of tooth paste.

Well..he didn’t win with an agenda. Lot of luck he had (Storm Sandy) and people who like him didn’t want to see him fail. This time, he owns it all. Let’s hope the Gop plays hard ball and hits him at every legal turn they can because he is one corrupt person and set out to make USA , Europe. The media has orchestrated this entire change to America. The media is mostly responsible for covering for his lies and ail of the failures. We just didn’t have the base *totally* on board. It was not conservatism that failed nor is the country flipping liberal. A lot of the people who voted for him are dysfunctional(weird to go against America’s foundation to make America into THEIR version) and want the government monthly checks to the social special rights agenda. Those people are odd and failed civics because they do not understand business. Look at all of the states in which Liberal governors put their loony liberal agenda in place. Personally, we need a revolt for action or to start playing hard ball with the socialists because we have to get those people who have given up to become interested once again.
