Small Business Employment, Revenues In Downward Trend, Says Intuit http://www.gaebler.com/News/Small-Business-Finance/Small-Business-Employment,-Revenues-in-Downward-Trend,-Says-Intuit-900000259.htm

Welch Allyn

Welch Allyn, a company that manufactures medical diagnostic equipment in central New York, announced in September that they would be laying off 275 employees, or roughly 10% of their workforce over the next three years. One of the major reasons discussed for the layoffs was a proactive response to the Medical Device Tax mandated by the new healthcare law.

Dana Holding Corp.

As recently as a week ago, a global auto parts manufacturing company in Ohio known as Dana Holding Corp., warned their employees of potential layoffs, citing “$24 million over the next six years in additional U.S. health care expenses”. After laying off several white collar staffers, company insiders have hinted at more to come. The company will have to cover the additional $24 million cost somehow, which will likely equate to numerous cuts in their current workforce of 25,500 worldwide.

Stryker

One of the biggest medical device manufacturers in the world, Stryker will close their facility in Orchard Park, New York, eliminating 96 jobs in December. Worse, they plan on countering the medical device tax in Obamacare by slashing 5% of their global workforce - an estimated 1,170 positions.

Medtronic

In March of 2010, medical device maker Medtronic warned that Obamacare taxes could result in a reduction of precisely 1,000 jobs. That plan became reality when the company cut 500 positions over the summer, with another 500 set for the end of 2013.

Others

A short list of other companies facing future layoffs at the hands of Obamacare:

•Smith & Nephew - 770 layoffs •Abbott Labs - 700 layoffs •Covidien - 595 layoffs •Kinetic Concepts - 427 layoffs •St. Jude Medical - 300 layoffs •Hill Rom - 200 layoffs

Add on those companies reducing hours to keep employees part-time and avoid Obamacare taxes.

To everyone who is losing their job, who voted for Romney, I’m sorry, I hope you find a good job soon. To those losing their jobs who voted for hussein I say good, I hope you lose your homes cars, everything. Mean, yes I know. It doesn’t sit well with me to wish ill on others. But in this case they richly deserve it, they need to feel some of the pain and suffering they are helping to inflict on everyone by helping hussein continue to destroy the economy and our freedoms, our very way of life.

Today is layoff day for my company here in Alabama. By 3:00pm 200+ poor souls (58% of the work force) will receive the bad news. Victims of sequestration.

“It doesn’t sit well with me to wish ill on others.”

These people would not hesitate to wish and inflict ill on you.

They are willing and complicit revolutionaries who would dictate to others how to live and what to think.

They will be or are bearing the results of their voting decision.

It’s only right that they should bear the responsibility for what they do because they thought they were making you bear the responsibility for their revolutionary zeal.

Screw ‘em.

IMHO

Best Regards.

I only wish I had said it first.

I will add though that I hope the same thing on every person who did not go vote against hussien and every person who did not vote out of protest and every person who claims to be conservative who voted third party.

I sat in a restaurant yesterday. Five of us old farts and a bunch of youngsters from a nearby cubicle farm. 37 people and I’d bet a lot that 32 of them didn’t have a clue or a care about what just happened. I wanted to scream at them. I had to leave.

At this point, the sooner the policies of the left are proven to be failures, the sooner the way can be cleared for a real alternative.
I will not help the system to survive. The left must be allowed to stew in their own juices to the point where they begin fighting amongst themselves for diminishing resources, a la Greque.
In this regard, we will be limiting our commerce as much as possible, limiting purchases, buying used. Any commerce we do will be done among like-minded people. Slowing the velocity of money through the system will help grind it to a halt. We already know that most businesses will not be hiring, and many will be converting full-time employees into part-time to avoid obamacare. The makers will be going Galt to various degrees.
There are many other things that people are doing with their assets to keep them away from being redistributed, and people are clever, and the government will run out of other peoples money sooner than later. In desperation, the government may float a wealth tax, pay fairness, etc. Those will be signs that we are winning. The faster we starve the beast, the sooner people will look for an alternative. The worse things get, the more electable and conservative the alternative will become.

Agree completely. Although in most cases the clueless a$$ hat's supporters are nothing more than brain dead parasites leeching off the productive, I am to look forward to the day those who do have jobs today lose them quickly. Scumbags voting for "revenge"? Well, here's to the "revenge", and more importantly - economic reality - coming back and biting you ignorant libtard morons in your fat a$$es.

"and every person who claims to be conservative who voted third party."

Just one point.... Your point above, I take exception to...

Why in the good name of gravytrain would any alleged conservative vote for any one in the GOP?

They have proved to be anything but conservative.

Just listen to the leader of the "conservative" On the radio this morning, I heard Boehner say to Obama in a public address: "We want you to succeed."

If you have anyone to blame, look in the damn mirror, why do you "mainstream" GOP types accept substandard candidates or what ever is thrown in your path... Drink your KoolAid, and blame yourself for being a guppy.

Anyone watch the film of the riots and firebombs being thrown at police in Greece this morning? With a 25% unemployment they are really in turmoil.

If that is a sign of our future, things don’t look so good. I’ll be very happy to live in my rural secluded farm as a hermit for a few years. I have enough books to last for at least fifteen years of reading.

I see what is coming as birth pains for something much greater. Yes it will hurt but the end result will be wonderful. Also, Yes we have global warming. Not man made, but due to the increased presence of the Holy Spirit.

Remember, giving a prayerful blessing to an evil person is like placing hot coals upon their head. This is the reason that the weeds in the wheat field will be burned in Matthew 13!
