I feel like a piker. All I did was close bank accounts today...
I like Hillbuzz..but this is the same guy who said he had “Inside sources” who told him that Obama was purchasing a 35 million dollar retirement mansion in Hawaii because they all knew he was going to lose..even though I like the site he lost a lot of credibility yesterday

Since I was laid off recently and don't see much in the way of prospects for a good job, we will be notifying the house cleaner who my wife hired around 10 years ago that we won't be needing her services. The lady is a diehard Obama fan (took a day off to watch Obama's inauguration in January 2009 instead of making the scheduled appointment to our house). I will be doing the main cleaning in the house starting tomorrow.
Both of these actions will save us a little bit of money each month.

When I read that list of ‘proofs,’ I was thinking Aristotelian physics based on logical inferences versus physics based on actual empirical methods. The concern trolls and eeyores were right because they had data, not assumptions.
Everyone needs to invest in Dish or The Blaze from Glenn Beck. His new network is going on U-Verse in a month or 2. It is currently on Dish Network. He will be on cable next year in a lot of markets. He did a whole lay out today on how he has invested 7 more million dollars of his own money...they are going to have international bureau’s and become global.
There is no debt with the network. Beck owns it all. However, today he asked for memberships for the web site to double in subscriptions to help get other projects off the ground more quickly.
He said The Blaze web site will become a full original hard news site and will no longer mirror out to other sites.
Glenn Beck is going all in.
He also said he is going to make an opportunity to own a share of The Blaze as well for a small window of time for a small amount of people...that he would make that announcement in the new year on his decision on how many people he will give shares to.
Exciting times at The Blaze.

Run from everyone else....as fast as you can. I am done with Fox News as well. Their carnival act on election night was enough for me.

#1 let me say - I’m not giving up TV, I like TV a lot. I don’t pay too much attention to it but I like it. (And right now in Sandy-land I haven’t had TV for 10 days and it stinks)
#2 I was wise to the MSM 40+ years ago. I used to tag along when my dad would take my brothers to the barbershop for haircuts so I could read the magazines. Esquire still had the Vargas girls in those days. And I knew right off the bat that Time magazine was a bunch of cr*p.
#3 Then went the “women’s” mags. Slowly but surely I stopped reading them all, Vogue, Glamour, Red Book, etc because of their undying devotion to Abortion, Abortion, Abortion. In fact the only place I ever saw a pro-life statement was in Essense, the black women’s mag, and the woman quoted basically said there is always room for one more, “rich or poor you throw food in the garbage can every day”. I don’t know how much Essense has deteriorated but my guess is they’ve gone down the tubes during these Obama-days if they didn’t before
I’m down to Women’s Day and Family Circle and Better Homes & Gardens and I don’t even cook!
#4 I was still buying the newspapers in 2001, but I gave up the NY Times years ago and the last time I read it (we bought the sunday paper for packing material) about 5 years ago it was breathtaking in how stupid and juvenile it was. Just awful. I don’t know when I stopped buying the paper, but it was years and years ago.
#5 I gave up network news ages ago, they’ve been shills for the left for as long as I can remember and beyond that they don’t try and inform, only inflame. You are better off with Mother Jones, heck you might be better off with Worker’s World Daily than you are with ABC/CBS/NBC.
SO I don’t think there is anything else I can do to kill the nefarious beast that is the MSM. Other than give up TV, but see #1 above.
I cancelled my 10+ year subscription to the LA Times in ‘08 after they withheld the tape of 0bama at the Khalidi[sp?] dinner.
Are you referring to that walk she took down those hallways in the mini-skirt? Did you notice that she said that practiced it before and lost sound half-way?
Another thing (if you have it recorded) just after she turned the last corner, look way back at the end of the hall. You'll see a janitor. Well, I zoomed in and guess what I saw...
They're all in it together. Alex Jones thinks that even Mittens and Obama were in on it all too.
I just wanted to add that most providers offer unadvertised minimalist packages that do not include the alphabet networks. You have to call and ask. If they do, you can then add other channels like the Blaze if you have Dish.
I concur. See tag. Why millions of us would pay them SO MUCH money monthly just to have them denigrate everything we stand for daily is just amazing to me. Us capitalists really need to start controlling where we spread the capital we have. Vote with your bucks. Hasten the media decline, cut your cable today. Make it a BIG blip on media’s o-crap-o-meter.

With any luck OTHER people this lady has as clients will also no longer be needing her “services.” Votes have consequences. And she voted (possibly multiple times) for a crap economy. Sometimes you vote for what you get. She put the noose around her own neck.

Maybe you should kindly tell her you don’t have any real hope for our economy now that Obama won, and you’re sorry, but you just can’t afford to hire her any more. Wish her well.
Perhaps knowing the reason she is losing this job will help her think more clearly next election.
I had not watched TV since 2003 when I left Tucson to come back to Maine.
Just started watching it again (temporarily).
Things have changed! The commercials are all computer generated just like I figured Hollywood adventure films would be at this time and many programs are no longer divided by commercials. Right after the ending credits stop the next program begins!
I prefer Old Time Radio (via the internet)
