The Right Scoop ^ | 11/7/12 | Mark Levin

Wow. From beginning to end Mark Levin passionately defends conservatism and hammers those attacking it and pulls no punches all the way through. Just listen, as it needs no commentary:

Re: “Republican Immigrants”

My goodness, Levin is so far off the mark with this it's painful to listen to.

Encourage Cubans to come here, he says?

One problem - at least 60% of new Cuban immigrants are Black, the other 40% are unskilled, and both groups vote overwhelmingly for Democrats.

Encourage Indians to immigrate here, he says?

Educated Indians - think software engineers - are the most Hard Left immigrant group in America, and they vote.

Let me put this in perspective...

New immigrant citizens vote in low numbers, but they support Democrats 75%-80% of the time.

The GOP cannot cherry pick its way to political parity.

My solution?

Immigration based on pay.

Every immigrant must have a job before coming.

Minimum pay - say $175,000, indexed to inflation.

Everyone above that gets a visa, everyone below, apply next year, everyone who falls below after getting here, visa revoked.

After three years on the list, automatic citizenship, including wife and minor children, no others, no “legal residents” like parents, who are eligible for every form of welfare.

I'll guess 65% of that group will vote Democrat.

But they'll be serious wealth producers, future entrepreneurs, and I'll trade a couple hundred thousand Democrat votes for that.

[[From beginning to end Mark Levin passionately defends conservatism and hammers those attacking it and pulls no punches all the way through]]

[[When will some Conservative of his intellectual caliber run for President]]

I was thjinking and wishing for the same thing- ALL our gop nominees have been spineless whelps who allowed the left to walk all over them and allowed the left to trample all over our constitution- and I truly beleive that if you put someoen with the guts, bravado and love for country on the podium that peopel would realize just how much we’;ve been missing out on by voting for past spineless politicians- Someone liek Levine could make Americans love their country ocne again and spark that fire that has died thanks to limp listless politicians who are more cocnerned abotu hteir careers than they are about bringing this countrty back to the greatness it once knew before greedy politicians took over

[[I’m shutting down my charitable contributions]]

you’re goign to be forced to shut them down because you very soon won’t have enough to take care of you and your own family (unless you’re very wealthy)- the average person is goign to be socked with extremely high energy prices, carbon taxes food prices etc etc etc- and your responsibility will be to take care of your family first- because you may soon not even have enough to do that thanks to tax and spend liberals

Your points were valid at some point (when the benevolence of the faithful cared for the needy) but that became passé as the government crowded God out of the equation.

Remember, prayer and bible reading were no longer tolerated in school and I dare say, many here on FR don't even remember when bible reading and prayers were part of the school day.

So, we have bibles and prayers out of school. Then, LBJ gave us "the Great Society" and bingo, caring for the indigent became a function of the state, butt out churches and synagogues. Next came Supreme Court rulings telling hospitals that they had to care for anyone who walked in their doors, goodbye charity hospitals, again supported by the various churches. Since most hospitals were then run by religious organizations, they could no longer afford to treat everyone without third party (read government) intervention.

Then another liberal Lion (Teddy Kennedy) gave us HMOs and squeezed out smaller private institutions in favor of mega-insurance companies, and on, and on, it went.

Not long thereafter, religious institutions began looking to government for "contributions" and once that camel's nose was in the door, government had taken over most, if not all, charitable functions and kicked out God in the equation!

“I am no longer a Republican”

I made that stand after the 2012 Republican Convention Rules Changes

The Lord does not recognize nationalism. Don’t let it get to you so hard. He recognizes people and their need for help. He has no help for those that usurp his authority.

Absolutely fantastic, dead-on, sermon from “The Great One.” Hannity and Limbaugh claim deference to Mark L. If they aren’t preaching from this same hymn book tomorrow they should retire.

That's just the point; the church can crowd the government out by doing the job better than some far-off & distant authority ever could.

Remember, prayer and bible reading were no longer tolerated in school and I dare say, many here on FR don't even remember when bible reading and prayers were part of the school day.

Retaliate by taking your kids out of government control: private school or homeschool. Who's the parent, you or the government?

Yes, but there are things we can do. In particular there are two woefully underused laws, felonies: Conspiracy against rights and Deprivation of rights under color of law which are proof against the supposed immunity of lawmakers, judges, prosecutors, government officials/agents. If they want to make things legal-battle, the religious can do legal: we've had four thousand years of practice.

Not long thereafter, religious institutions began looking to government for "contributions" and once that camel's nose was in the door, government had taken over most, if not all, charitable functions and kicked out God in the equation!

And? What's the solution? you, and me, personally going to God: screw them and their godless equation -- heaven is where God is, and He says that he is with me and will never leave or forsake me. -- IOW, I have heaven already, why should I care what impotent man has to say when that man is clearly outside lawful authority?

Same here dude. I have felt bitter and crabby all day today. I look at people differently now. While out driving today I found myself looking around at the people in the other cars and thinking I’m surrounded by so many idiots. I don’t want to live here anymore.

I am done with Rush as well.

What’s he done to help this nation?

Since he started we have had more liberalism and less conservatism.

Rubio keeps touting a plan to help illegal immigrants stay in the US. He can call it what he wants...but it is Amnesty.

Turn off Fox News. Turn ON The Blaze TV. It is Glenn Beck’s network. It is now on Dish. It is going on U-Verse in December. Cable in February through the rest of 2013. Support FR, Beck, Levin, Savage, Drudge, and Brietbart.

Run from Coulter. Run from Hannity. Run from Rove. Run from Huckabee. Run from O’Reilly. Run from the pundits. RUN RUN RUN from Dick Morris.

Support the ones who are speaking up and angry and about to do something about it. Not sit with their smiles on their faces and quirky jokes.

Not a damn thing was funny about last night.
