What a Shame: Mitt Romney's Life of Traditional American Achievement was Rejected...

RUSH: El Rushbo, your guiding light through times of trouble, confusion, murkiness, tumult, confusion.

None of it makes any sense.

None of it makes any sense! Mitt Romney and his wife and his family are the essence of decency. He's the essence of achievement. Mitt Romney's life is a testament to what's possible in this country. Mitt Romney is the nicest guy anybody would ever run into. Mitt Romney is charitable. He wouldn't hurt a fly. He doesn't hate. He's not discriminatory in any way, shape, manner, or form.

And no such charges were ever leveled.

But what did Romney do? Romney presented a picture... This is very frightening stuff to me. He presented a picture of the traditional view, the traditional roots, the traditional way things work in this country. And part of his campaign... There was an assumption, I think, that that's what most people were looking for and wanted a return to. Instead we've got the Mulligan presidency. We're gonna give Obama a do-over!

They're gonna give him a do-over so that he can do in the second term what we all hoped he would do in the first term. There's nobody singing Obama's praises in terms of achievement. There's nobody singing his praises in terms of a good job done. They're singing his praises as it relates to marketing, campaigning, strategizing, getting out the vote. All that matters. It clearly does.

This is not sour grapes on that. Campaigns matter. Lot of things were illustrated and confirmed last night. Campaigns do matter, strategy matters, all that stuff matters. But for many of us, the country's at a point where it's never been in our lifetimes economically. We figured we had one chance to stop this direction and reverse it, take it back to the traditional path of American greatness. It was rejected. That America is not desired. That America is not wanted.

It's difficult to accept that.

It's a challenge that we'll have to meet in reclaiming it.

That’s a painful title to read. It’s a sad day. Santa Claus won! Free toys for everyone — at the expense of the hard working producers (aka middle class).

My tagline pretty well sums up my take on this.

It’s a damn shame.

Bunch of @#^$* losers. We needed to get out of a hole, and the public saw a pathetic failure and decided to give him another chance to f*ck up again!

I'll get lambasted for this:

Conservatives didn't vote for the rino! It's that simple.
Dole - Rino
McCain - Rino
Romney - Rino

Democrats didn't win, conservatives caused Romney's defeat because they didn't vote for the rino!

But hey, that's what the republican's get for foisting a Friggin Rino on the party every single election! FU GOP/RNC!

Is everyone ready to finally acknowledge RINOS are LOSERS now?!

Not only that. What about the virtue of Philanthropy? He donates money and does not declare it on his taxes. Who else can make this claim?

The biggest mistake is trying to appeal to responsibility and morals—the US is now dominated by a majority who are berefit of such attributes.

The LOSER is the "conservative" who re-elected Obama by not voting for his opponent.

(That would be Mitt Romney, for anyone who wasn't paying attention.)

It is Romney’s success and achievement that cost him the election. Pathetic loser were made uncomfortable by him and those like him. They are much more comfortable with mediocrities like Obama. Similar to people’s affection for Clinton. They know that he is a lowlife and that he is not a reproach to them in their moral squalor. People feel comfortable with these bums.

Romney didn't lose, he's a rich man. Now he doesn 't have to deal with this mess we are in.

The 47%'ers didn't lose, they get a free ride, health care, spending money, cell phone, free housing, and no responsibilities.

The conservatives who let Obama win by not showing up at the polls are the big losers because they get to pay the taxes.

It doesn't matter. The evidence and TRACK RECORD is convincingly clear, enough conservatives do not vote for rinos, but the STUPID PARTY will never realize this!

May the party disintegrate into the abysmal LOSERS they have become!

“Democrats didn’t win, conservatives caused Romney’s defeat because they didn’t vote for the rino!”

No. The real reason is worse than that. The reason we lost is that when presented the choice between radical socialism and sort of middle of the road liberalism, the majority selected radical socialism. So what makes us think that the majority would suddenly select a conservative?

We are a minority and a shrinking one. We should save what we can.

This is the lamest excuse among lame excuses. It won't fly.

Every single one of them knew what was at stake in this election. You Pontius Pilate times are destroying this nation, hand-in-hand with the liberal progressives.

There were no sidelines in this election. You were either with the one man standing between America and four more years of fundamental transformation or you were with Obama.

Everyone one of those non-voters is a guilty traitor to their supposed cause and principles. The anger within hopes, in the next four years, every one of them encounters abject poverty, personal financial ruin and the same mocking contempt they offered to those struggling in the Obama economy. They deserve to suffer for what they've done. They had a chance to act and did not. They're worse than the worst who voted for Obama believing his lies.

To those sanctimonious do-nothings, the crazy Akin supporters, it's a bit like knowing about Salvation and outright rejecting it verse not having heard the Good News.

So what makes us think that the majority would suddenly select a conservative?

Give me the name of a conservative or perceived conservative that has LOST an election in the last 40 years? As ALL rino's Three strike and you are fn out!!

The republican party is done as a place where conservatives can find a home...The republican leadership who foisted three LOSER rino's on us, can GFT's and I'm sure I am not alone in this sentiment. I bet they try to do it again next election too! I'm so done with that party of stupidity!

The Tea Party needs to formally form and not include anyone who does not adhere to a set of certain conservative principles.
