Mitt Should Have Become The Romney Whom Obama Ridiculed

Witnessing the presidential results springs several old sayings to mind. It’s been noted that you can vote yourself into socialism, but you can’t vote yourself back out. Apparently, America wants to continue testing the iron law of economics trying to find that there is such a thing as a free lunch. Let’s keep the fantasy going; someone else will pay for it later.

President Obama largely spent his first term campaigning on the taxpayers’ tab. The bunch from Chicago reconfigured the Executive Branch into a dole dispensing contraption bolstering cronies and bribing the electorate. The result: four consecutive trillion dollar deficits. But people like freebies. To trim largesse risks severe backlash by voters.

In an election largely over the feckless economy and reckless fiscal policies, one side seeks annual spending to rise by three percent; the winning party wants to spend even more. This isn’t new. Barack Obama did not change, but accelerated Bush’s wastrel ways. Obama’s much ballyhooed balanced approach to budget responsibility is really about growing government.

Instead of a multi-generational perspective in the context of self-sufficient families, Democrats seek cradle to grave dependency, affixing everyone to the entitlement state like spokes on a wheel. The result: foreboding federal debt looms over posterity. Washington’s deficits will ultimately present families with severe financial challenges.

Despite being wishy-washy about social issues, Obama mocked Romney as a Fifties throwback. Be clear, how parents rear children, who works or how they divvy up duties are private decisions, but it’s crucial that families remain America’s foundation. The state is slowly replacing families as the axis around which society revolves. Retirement, healthcare and saving for hard times have been abdicated to Washington.

Every day more people hop in the dependency wagon

I'm no longer sure that works. We need someone who will lie, cheat, and steal . . . and who happens to agree with us.

Thanks, I don’t think he’s a Muslim. He’s definitely a Marxist as outlined here:
