KABUL — Taliban insurgents told re-elected President Barack Obama Wednesday to admit that the United States has lost the war in Afghanistan and pull its troops out now.
"Obama must by now know that they have lost the war in Afghanistan," spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said in a statement posted on the Islamists' website.
"So, without further lying and delays, they should leave our sacred land and focus on their own country instead."
Accusing Americans of committing war crimes, he added: "The American administration should stop acting like police in the world and focus on solving their own people's problems, and don't make the world hate Americans even more."

The voters admitted we lost the war, and re-elected the Sultan. Our servicemen died for nothing.
Lets trade our troops for Obama.

Unfortunately, you don’t have to favor the Taliban or favor what they can try to do, to have our own good reasons for leaving.
Our troops have not been incapable of defeating the Taliban.
They have been handcuffed by the rules of how and which operations are conducted, as well as with whom, and Obama never had a top down total committment to their success. It was enough that a temporary surge looked successful and training and preparing the Afghans looked successful, even though actual Taliban strength never waned.
We have a disgusting immoral noncommitted mission now that not a single additional American should die for.
The difference between now and 2014, in terms of the security situation in Afghanistan will not have changed in any major material manner; and Obama has no real committment other than seeing our troops leave in 2014, no matter what.
Fine, get them out now, we are not using them in a way that will make things better in 2014. Its immoral for anymore to die while the political date of 2014 is waiting.
