Allen West: "This race if far from decided"
WFLX Channel 29 News ^ | November 7, 2012 | Rachel Leigh

Allen West has just released a statement that suggests this race is far from over; even though, the actual vote count shows Murphy in the lead.

West's campaign manager, Tim Edson, released the following statement regarding the results:

"This race is far from decided, and there is no rush to declare an outcome. Ensuring a fair and accurate counting of all ballots is of the utmost importance. There are still tens of thousands of absentee ballots to be counted in Palm Beach County and potential provisional ballots across the district.

"Late last night Congressman West maintained a district-wide lead of nearly 2000 votes until the St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections 'recounted' thousands of early ballots. Following that 'recount' Congressman West trailed by 2,400 votes. In addition, there were numerous other disturbing irregularities reported at polls across St. Lucie County including the doors to polling places being locked when the polls closed, in direct violation of Florida law, thereby preventing the public from witnessing the procedures used to tabulate results. The St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections office clearly ignored proper rules and procedures, and the scene at the Supervisor's office last [Tuesday] night could only be described as complete chaos. Given the hostility and demonstrated incompetence of the St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections, we believe it is critical that a full hand recount of the ballots take place in St. Lucie County. We will continue to fight to ensure every vote is counted properly and fairly, and accordingly will pursue all legal means necessary."

Votes are still being counted in Palm Beach County. They're currently at a 50-50 split, so a recount of the duplicated absentee ballots that were mailed out may need to be recounted.

I agree. I bet there’s some degree of fraud in every big Democrat precinct. The precinct folks control every step in the voting/custodial/counting chain, except for the observers who couldn’t possibly detect every possible fraudulent trick.

West is one of the few Republicans who’ll challenge it when things appear not as they should be.

Allen:
You need to move on. This election sucked. Not for Obama being re-elected but for the results in the Senate and Congress.

It seemed mathematicaly probable we would gain seats in both houses but, somehow we got rolled back.

Bitch Slap!

The Effin weird thing about this election is that less Republicans voted for Mutt than McCain.

How is that even possible?

We had energy to make this thing happen and gain those majorities in the Houses but, for some strange reason even less Republicans voted than in 2008.

I don’t get it.

Additionally, so many issues passed that shouldn’t have passed if Republicans showed up as we expected.

Gay Marriage in two states? You MTHRFKN retards who didn’t show up should be ashamed of your selves.

You’re retarded. Lame. Spiritual skanks.

But, we’ll live through this. Barry ain’t running again for anything except for Ban Ki Moon’s position.

Less republican voters now than 4 years ago? Really? Really?

I like West but he needs to explain his ‘Aye’ vote for the nazi Germany style NDAA bill which is the indefinite detention of American citizens by our own military here on our own soil. No due process, no attorney, no judge, no court hearing allowed or required for American citizens arrested based only on the Fed’s discretion of who/what is a ‘terrorist’. Remember, Biden called the Tea Party ‘terrorists’. The NDAA bill is about as Nazi as you will find and West voted for it.

That’s what has surprised me. Four years ago, my neighborhood in South Florida had a ton of Obama signs, and virtually no McCain signs. This year, I would say the Romney signs outnumbered the Obama signs by about ten to one (by actual count of about 60 signs).

Fewer Republican voters?

South Florida is where the rich northern liberals go to die. Most of them bring their politics with them.

Maybe Allen should not have voted for NDAA or funding Obamacare.

Add to those the fact that West pandered to the black vote by crying "Justice for Trayvon!" back in March.

Bobby, save a spot for me and mine in the Redoubt. We've got stuff you might like to see.

It’s what the left wants. Civil wars rarely end well. History has more Stalins than George Washingtons.

The same counties that tried to steal the election from Bush. We MUST eliminate voter fraud and FL is the place to start.

All Democrats have to do is manufacture more Dim votes and destroy Republican votes. It's what they did in 2000 in the exact same counties.

I was a faithful reader of FR during the 2000 recount. There was an expert analysis by Freeper Robert Cook right her on FR. I believe the guy knew what he was doing. The info is available on the internet.

its why I don’t do the early voting or absentee (if I can help it). I don’t want anyone to know I am voting a head of time and when I get calls from the “other side” I tell them I am not interested in voting this year for the first time in my life because I don’t like the nominees. Then I go vote on Election day. It is harder for them to prepare ahead of time for overcoming my vote either by finding some idiots to vote or manipulating through fraud. I am changing to Independent because it does not result in any conservative winning in a republican primary. NC’s primary is way past any opportunity of my vote helping. It is always decided by then.

I, too, am done voting early—it’s too easy for Democrats to destroy my vote.

No real conservative would vote for those two things. NDAA and Obamacare are central to our problems today. You will make a good captive in the FIMA camp while you never see a lawyer.

You put that very well. A real Conservative would NEVER have voted for the NDAA. It really is amazing that some of our fellow FReepers are not clued into just what the NDAA means for our Country or just what FEMA really was/is designed for.
