How could we lose, or is it How could we have won?

First off, I am not a conspiracist, but after the untold reports of record turn-out, we still fell short of a million or so votes that McCain got. REALLY? I know plenty who sat 2008 out, but not a single soul who sat out this one.

Oh, there is a lot here blaming Romney and I will be the first to say that he was about my last choice, but I was more than impressed with the way he handled his campaign. It was clean, truthful and honest. The GPO convention was more than I could have dreamed for.

Was I living in a dream land? I guess so. I thought that the two big wins that Scott Walker had against the Unions was big. I thought Chic-Fil-A was Huge!! Then you had Bengahzi, the soaring debts, contiued unemployment, dismal GDP and a health care system that no one wanted.

Yet, we lost. Why? Was it because of a moderate Romney? I don't think so. Romney was about as far right as you could get when compared to 0.

So what was it? Well we all know if we are true to ourselves. The MSM. The very same people that dem Pat Cadel slammed as enmemies of the State. The same people who would not question 0 about Benghazi in any capacity. They let it slide, just like they have everything since 0 showed his face.

They have not vetted 0 once; but rather blatantly defended him in any capaicty they can. 0 told countless lies during the last several weeks. What did the MSM do, but run with them. Guys, it is time we learn and fully understand who our real opponent is.

So who would or rather COULD have one last night? A REAL CONSERVATIVE? Perhaps but I doubt it.

I think we would have had heaps of enthusiasm and a record turn out and a dismal loss like last night with the MSM gloating as they are today. There is nothing that even hints that it could have been anything different. The MSM would have slain whoever it was; this person would have had all of the support of everyone who lives and breathes for freedom and love of country, but we would have still lost.

They have painted a pretty ugly picture with no easy way out. Things like this don't usually end pretty, but they do end.

I say the dream lives, and America is only as dead as your will to fight for her.

Liberate ourselves from the unholy alliance of leeches and liberal white women who only care about free birth control and their queer BFFs.

I know Obama sucks as a President, but he happens to be probably the best campaigner of our generation.

The GOP just happened to run into that. It happens.

This was the Dems golden child and his numbers were close to Bush 2004. That's the good news, there's no candidate for the Dems who will ever bring in numbers like that again. I know lots of FReepers are bringing up the demographic shift, but that too will not be enough for the Dems in the near future when someone other than Obama is running.

Throw in the economy will be in the toilet for the next few years and your gonna have a real 'change' here soon.

The key things are to get your personal household affairs in order. Finance, spiritual, physical and mental.

It really does boggle the mind. I get that the turnout #s must have been wrong, but to get LESS than McCain four years after the crisis?

That make no sense.

I have to wonder if the Mormon thing was a bigger deal than most wanted to believe....mainly in Ohio, Florida, Iowa and Wisconsin?

Yep. I think we may have moved not center left, but center. The Democrats pretend to be for defense, low taxes, etc to pull voters in who are somewhat conservtive in terms of government. It could be center left, but I think this is more to do with the celebrity/worship of the ‘great man’. I see that a lot from supporters. They buy the imagery.

There is some tap dancing going on today by some talkers trying to avoid that issue (at least in Iowa), but based on what some of my evangelical co-religionists said to me this cycle, anti-Mormon bigotry alone kept some "conservatives" from voting for Mitt Romney.

Mitt Romney didn’t carry his own state of Mass.
Paul Ryan didn’t carry his own state of WI
76% of the HIspanics voted for Obama when their bishops told them the Catholic Church asked them to vote for Romney.
92% of blacks voted for Obama, when many of their pastors paraded in the street asking them NOT to vote for a candidate who embraced same sex marriage. I think the Americana Culture has shifted far to the sewer, and people are seeing things on Internet, and have a life style that they WANT abortions, same sex marriage, marijuana. Values are a think that is scoffed at, and Education is based upon an atheist world view that is most definitely different than the Founding Fathers. MOST OF THE PEOPLE WHO VOTED FOR MCCAIN, WERE ACTUALLY VOTING FOR SARA PALIN...LET’S NEVER FORGET THIS.

Those stories of record turn-out were lies tweeted by the GOP establishment. Simply put, the data says it never happened. In red precincts, the people who count the votes are likely to be right-leaning themselves, so there was no conspiracy. The northeastern GOP establishment gave us another RINO in the mold of Dole and McLame, and enough people in the grassroots said “no thanks.”

Data shows that, where turn-out was indeed high in allegedly Republican-leaning suburbia, it was single white girls who voted for free birth control and abortion.

don't forget to factor in the impotent GOP and the way they fight like little girls...the fact they came unprepared to handle obama or the criminal liberal media despite their experience from four years ago...the fact they let the rats set the narrative that we are all racists, women haters, hate illegals and have no response...the fact that we (the Tea Party) delivered them a huge victory two years ago, when things seemed bleaker then they are today, and they thanked us by giving us a big F-U....

the combination of the two is the perfect storm and until the GOP grows a pair, nothing will change as i don't think we in the Tea Party will be able to save their sorry butts in 2014...

the other thing is Congress- despite stopping obama, has offered little in the way of alternatives for the American people...Boehner is a failed leader, like obama, yet does nothing as his/our side gets all the blame, unlike obamugabe...

once again because of their stupidity the GOP has snatched defeat from the jaws of victory...

For the near future, a Republican couldn’t get elected dog catcher in a national election.

We are facing a seismic shift. The left has taken over the culture. People that are 20something and below firmly believe that socialism is superior to capitalism.

The media will cover for any mistakes, or intentional misdeeds by Obama. Bad things, such as high prices, high unemployment, decaying infrastructure, will be termed the “new normal”. They’ll say, yes, it’s bad, but it can’t be any better, and don’t ever let a Republican take office or it will get worse.

The American public knew Romney was better on economy. The public also thought the economy was our most pressing problem. But, Obama promises free stuff, so they voted for him.

The republican party was taken in the Clinton era by democrats changing their affiliation but not their democratic party views.

That’s where RINOs come from.

The GOP doesn’t care about you or any other conservatives.

They were not in to win, but to give the illusion of a two party system.

Rush said Romney got 2.5 million votes less than McCain. That is incomprehensible to me. Herman Cain said there were 6 million conservatives who sat out 2008 because McCain was so weak. So all told, there are apparently 8.5 million Republican voters out there who were so little concerned with the future of our country that they couldn’t be bothered to vote yesterday. Really?

You need a “Vision Thing”.

Reagan had it, and succeeded famously.

George H.W. Bush did not, and failed.

Bob Dole ran as a competent manager, and lost.

George Bush had a vision, first of “Compassionate Conservatism”, and then later of defending America, and he succeeded.

Barack Obama has a vision of fundamentally tranformorming America, but John McCain did not. Even though Obama’s vision was repellent to any thinking person, vision beats no vision.

Up until October 15, Romney ran as the Competent Administrator. No vision means no victory.

Easy answer: The takers ("gimmes" as I call them) have become too numerous to turn back the tide of socialism. They will only increase - our Constitutional Republic is NOW officially dead.

If you have assets, look to protect them because now that the socialists are more empowered, they will find a way to confiscate them. It's coming. I'm thinking Cayman Island since Switzerland is no longer a safe haven. Do your due diligence. Every man for himself...good luck to you and yours. And for you who would call me a quitter, know that I have been fighting against this for decades. I'm done...over and out.

Fire the republican party.

They are losers and traitors.

They are pushing us onward to global government, under a communist system because their contributors— the transnational corporations made into megamonsters by our ‘free trade’ legislation— demand it.

Obama has invited the UN to ‘observe’ our election. It is just the beginning of globalist conversion of our sovereign nation to a communist state under global authority.

Regarding the media, being gang-raped by Obama’s Islamist thug friends sort of woke up Lara Logan. Not saying that should happen to other media people, but agreeing with Yuri Bezmenov that the only wake-up for demoralized (having no morals/right and wrong) people is a boot to the butt.

When female media people and celebrities are covered head to toe in a burqa and whipped if they go in a room with a non-related male, and when the males are hung for being gay or required to shave their rectal area.... under the “American Spring” Obama’s buddies are planning for us.... these people might wake up.

Might.
