We’ll nominate the next loser in line - Paul Ryan and we’ll lose again.

Its just a GOP rule to pick the dauphin rather than a candidate who can actually win!

Jindal - born in the U.S. to two foreign citizen parents - is a citizen of the U.S. via 14th Amendment and eligible to be Senator, Rep in the House, SCOTUS justice, Governor and other political positions within a state, but is not a natural born Citizen and therefore not eligible to be the Commander in Chief.

Rubio - born in the U.S. to two foreign citizen parents - is a citizen of the U.S. via 14th Amendment and eligible to be Senator, Rep in the House, SCOTUS justice, Governor and other political positions within a state, but is not a natural born Citizen and therefore not eligible to be the Commander in Chief.

Cruz - born in a foreign country - became a citizen of the U.S. via naturalization and eligible to be Senator, Rep in the House, SCOTUS justice, Governor and other political positions within a state, but is not a natural born Citizen and therefore not eligible to be the Commander in Chief.

However, it appears that the majority of the country, including many (most?) Republicans, don't care about Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the U.S. Constitution.

Ironic that you should mention Dauphin...

According to today's America, the current Dauphin of France, Prince Louis Duke of Burgundy is eligible to be our Commander in Chief.
