Puerto Ricans faced a fundamental question on Election Day: Should they change their ties with the United States?

Citizens in the U.S. island territory cannot vote in the U.S. presidential election, but many were excited to participate in a referendum on whether to push the territory toward statehood, greater autonomy or independence.

"Puerto Rico's problem is not its political status," he said. "I think that the United States is the best country in the world, but I am Puerto Rican first."

“I know a lot of Puerto Ricans,... Many are more conservative than people on the FR... A lot serve in the US Military...”

I do also and love Puerto Rico HOWEVER, like way too many groups in this country “Many” or “A lot” does not equal a majority and you have to give the communists their due, they cobbled together a bowl of mixed nuts to create a majority which in the foreseeable future will always out vote us.

We have to face it that we are a minority in this country. We cannot possibly out vote the scum listed below who view the land of opportunity as simply an opportunity to take that which we and our ancestors created.

Immigration laws, thanks to the swimmer, have been altered to exclude white Europeans and favor 3rd world debris.

We have a black population fed, clothed, housed, and now health care provided for by the democrat plantation owners.

We have, what was it this time, 70% of the Jews voting against the brilliance of the founders. WTF does begin to express my inability to comprehend what the hell these people are thinking.

We have non-Cuban Hispanics who are bent on making this just one big extension of Mexico and changing the language to that gutter taco Spanish. For the time being at least the Cubans are still voting at a higher percentage for the right.

We have an almost complete takeover of the government indoctrination centers, aka public schools, by communist unions.

The communist influence in our government schools has been successfully ingrained in our universities

Alleged journalist leaving our commie run universities are populating the media with more of their filth.

We are allowing a self avowed group of sub-humans who have openly declared war on us to run free within our country and even praised by our affirmative action president. The cancer of Is-slime will gladly feed on the human debris left over from aborted babies, same sex perverts, welfare scam artists until they are powerful enough to achieve their caliphate.

I don’t see how this gets reversed. The Progressives (aka communists) have been building this cabal of anti-American, constitution haters for decades right under our noses in our public schools and we did nothing.

Pro-statehood libertarian Republican governor Luis Fortuno lost.

Pro-independence Dim candidate won.

Pro-statehood ballot initiative passed.

Makes no sense.

I don't believe anything any more.
