Dear God help us all.

That is a prophecy against the land of Israel.

I am right here with everyone on this thread.

Dr. John MacArthur, great Bible teacher and preacher (although I don’t subscribe to Calvinism), preached a very straight to the truth matter from Romans, stating not only is this going on socially, but that the Democratic platform officially rejected God from its platform, approves of abortion on demand, and approves of same sex agenda. They don’t just tolerate it, they exalt it as a virtue.

Everyone on here is making points based on Biblical principles. Folks like Neal Boortz, and Joe Scarborough and Mark McKinnon think that we need to modernize, become more progressive, and be more accepting of those things the Bible expressly is against.

If we would just do so, we would pick up votes. That is the real test for Republicans, are we going to become a fiscally secular conservative party, or are we going to try to hold on to Biblical principles and tie our platform to those principles?

For me, I would rather lose every election than to be unfaithful to God. God will judge this country at some point. At least half of our country has rejected God, shaken their fist in his face, exchanged the truth of God for a lie, told him he is irrelevant, if he even exists at all. I fear for our country. But the answer is as much or more spiritual than it is idealogical.

January 22nd, 2013, marks the 40th Anniversary of the historic Roe v. Wade.

That’s 2 days after Obama’s 2d term begins.

I disagree that it happened last night. It happened years ago. In, I think it was 2006, on Thanksgiving Day, Dr. MacArthur preached a sermon on Samson: that he last lost God's blessing but not was aware of it.

What happened last night is because many unsaved Americans have been cursed by the foolish heart and reprobate mind described in Romans 1. The person with those qualities does not have a truth filter--cannot understand the revealed will of God.

There is no other explanation.

The solution is not more politics, more education, or a pledge to do better, get out the vote more.

The only solution is a repentant nation.

Boortz is a fiscal conservative and a social liberal.

I asked for God's will to be done and accept that it was. God is still in control.

**We as a nation are under judgment by a Righteous and Holy God.**

Dontcha know that the really smart people have ‘proven scientifically’ that God doesn’t exist?

Those ‘wise ones’ have an answer for every hurricane, flood, drought, earthquake, tsunami, etc. They certainly aren’t going to see any of those things in a ‘God factor’ measurement. Only when it gets really bad will they acknowledge God as they curse him for the chaos He will unleash on the world for it’s ungodly behavior.

I make a correction to my last post concerning Kneel Bortz.

He thinks having money and being loud should be all that's necessary to make him desirable to young women, but that will only work in a nation far from God.

Therefore he joins the radicals as he rants and raves in his zeal to remove all remnants of moral righteousness.

Any national move back to God cuts down on the availability of young females who will sell themselves to a homely blowhard such a Kneel.

"We as a nation are under judgment by a Righteous and Holy God."

It is clear to me you are correct and I have believed for some time that God has given us over to the depths of human depravity as Paul described in Romans' Chapater 1. What last night confirms, I believe, is that time is rapidly running out for America. Before last night I held out hope there was a possibility America could repent and avoid the full weight of God's wrath and justice just as Ninevah did in response to Jonah. I no longer believe this is possible or at least, certainly not probable. I'm convinced that four more years of Obama will cause the bottom to completely drop out of our economy and that we will be gonig through tribulations that make the great depression look like a walk in the park. We have passed the point of no return. Thus, what do we the regenerate Christians on this thread who appear to recognize this fact, do in light of this?

I believe that our future efforts cannot be political in nature. Nothing we can do will convince the world to change - its heart is hardened. Thinking themselves wise they have become fools. I believe we are the modern remnant. It is our job to evangelize as never before to save those of the elect who are still to be saved. We must preach the Gospel in an unbelieving world to reach the remaining few who God has chosen for salvation. This will not be easy. The world will be hostile and we will be persecutewd. Paul tells us as much. Most of our efforts will be futile in that we will strike out at least a thousand times for any that we do reach. We must do this solely by preaching Christ and him crucified. Trying to argue the unsaved into salvation is a fool's errand. Their eyes cannot see and their ears cannot hear. That won't accomplish a thing but waste time. We can only preach the pure Gospel and let God take it over from there. I see dark days ahead and we must stiffen our resolve. God bless you all and may you bear much fruit.

...they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful,

So those of us who DID and DO Glorify Him, and are thankful to Him daily, are punished as well?

” I believe, is that time is rapidly running out for America. “

I agree with all you have said here and others should listen to what you are saying..I have believed time is running out for us because of all the foul things people are doing..

2 Chronicles 7:14

if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

You are right, Ariel Sharon is Methuselah, he has been in a coma for 7 years, when Ariel dies, judgment will begin, the Democrats, socialists, islamists are anti-christ, they are united in their hatred of Christians and Jews.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9oemFt3POo&list=UUBABsFdW6BWDykitKZAt8vg&index=5&feature=plcp

***So those of us who DID and DO Glorify Him, and are thankful to Him daily, are punished as well?***

If the nation is under judgment and we are part of the nation, then we pay the price as well. It was the case with Israel and it is the case today.

But always remember this....

For He says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.” Romans 9:15
