26 FOR THIS REASON GOD GAVE THEM UP to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.
27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, GOD GAVE THEM OVER to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;
29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers,
30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

Agreed. It is unfortunate that Christians have to suffer the judgement as well. But, Jehovah God promises to provide.
Woke up this morning with a spiritual heaviness on me. I discerned the results of this election from that, even before I checked the news. I believe we’re in serious trouble in America.
If America is not brought to repentance in sackcloth and ashes, it doesn't matter who we nominate or what political strategies we pursue. Truth cannot win.
Even so, come Lord Jesus.
I pray we who know Him will draw closer and find our comfort at His feet.

Impending Disaster
7The word of the Lord came to me: 2You, O mortal, thus says the Lord God to the land of Israel:
An end! The end has come
upon the four corners of the land.
3 Now the end is upon you,
I will let loose my anger upon you;
I will judge you according to your ways,
I will punish you for all your abominations.
4 My eye will not spare you, I will have no pity.
I will punish you for your ways,
while your abominations are among you.
Then you shall know that I am the Lord.
5 Thus says the Lord God:
Disaster after disaster! See, it comes.
6 An end has come, the end has come.
It has awakened against you; see, it comes!
7 Your doom* has come to you,
O inhabitant of the land.
The time has come, the day is near—
of tumult, not of revelling on the mountains.
8 Soon now I will pour out my wrath upon you;
I will spend my anger against you.

21 I will hand it over to strangers as booty,

the violent shall enter it,
they shall profane it.
23 Make a chain!*
For the land is full of bloody crimes;
the city is full of violence.
24 I will bring the worst of the nations
to take possession of their houses.
I will put an end to the arrogance of the strong,
and their holy places shall be profaned.
25 When anguish comes, they will seek peace,

rumour follows rumour;

I know this also to be true. I am still trying to wrap my head around it though. I am bitter and angry and want to lash out right now. However, what is holding me back is the position of leadership in Gods church that I am in. However, I do resent having to hold back and put on the smiling face right now. As I said, still trying to wrap my head around it.

Listening right now to Neal Boortz on WSB ranting about how religion needs to be removed from our political discourse, ie, opposition to gay marriage, because it’s what cost the GOP the election. Glad he’s retiring.
Hurrah.... this verse has taugt me so much. This is how people fall away and this is how to remain faithful. “although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened”...#1. glorify Him #2 be thankful #3 keep your thoughts or imagination on Godly things and not on vain (empty or lustful) things...

and it will be a DOOZY.

I woke up yesterday having a sad feeling in my soul..I just was not surprised the Communist pulled this one off ..I say that because after watching and read all the foul things they did yesterday and nothing was done about any of it I knew it wasn't over and the goons are still going to be in charge again..
I have made up my mind to not let this make me ill and live my life as best as I can..I will continue to pray for this country..and walk as close to God as I can..
I have a nagging feeling we will to find things really tough..but we can get through it..

Wow, so true. We are living in scary times. We must put our trust in God. Also, 2 Timothy 3, below, offers some prescient insight into our current situation and selfish generation:
“But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
6 They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, 7 always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.”
Paul also gave encouragement later in the chapter, as well as a clue to future persecution that awaits us:
“10 You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance, 11 persecutions, sufferings—what kinds of things happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra, the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them.
12 In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, 13 while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.
14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, 15 and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God[a] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
So appropriate, DarthVader. And, so extremely sobering.
I believe 2013 will be 40 years since Roe v Wade. 40 seems to be common span of time in the bible. Maybe we’ve used up our grace period.
I have never been a big prophecy/end times nut, as I believe God is in control and our job is to just trust in Him.
However, I read the book a couple of weeks ago, not even knowing what it was about (it was a gift). I was stunned. I spent another day researching and verifying everything in the book. I have to admit, it left me a little shaken up. There is no way to discount this and label it as “kooky”. It’s real and it is coming.
Last night just confirmed to me that our time is almost up. I am not saying this is the tribulation but we are getting ready to undergo tribulation. Pray and keep your eyes on Him.
