I’ve got egg on my face. I predicted a Romney landslide and, instead, we ended up with an Obama squeaker. The key reason for my bum prediction is that I mistakenly believed that the 2008 surge in black, Latino, and young voter turnout would recede in 2012 to “normal” levels. Didn’t happen. These high levels of minority and young voter participation are here to stay. And, with them, a permanent reshaping of our nation’s politics. In 2012, 13% of the vote was cast by blacks. In 04, it was 11%. This year, 10% was Latino. In ’04 it was 8%. This time, 19% was cast by voters under 30 years of age. In ’04 it was 17%. Taken together, these results swelled the ranks of Obama’s three-tiered base by five to six points, accounting fully for his victory. I derided the media polls for their assumption of what did, in fact happen: That blacks, Latinos, and young people would show up in the same numbers as they had in 2008. I was wrong. They did.

My question is why did I even bother to vote? It was over before any votes in Wa state got counted.
Am going to go and buy a gun an ammunition. No liberal is going to come to my door and rob me.
Everyone seems to be blaming the black & Latino vote.
That’s just part of it.
The dems were successful in scaring women away from Romney -that was a big factor.
Higher turnout from the plantation population. Lower turnout overall. Plantation Party wins.
“I got me a Obamaphone! He gonna pay my electik bill!” The country teeters close to the point where >50% of the voters vote for a living, outnumbering those who actually work for a living. When that threshold is crossed (and it might have happened last night) there is no going back; no one in the future can win who promises to give away fewer freebies and gimmes than the other guy promises.
This will continue until The Collapse stops it dead in its tracks. The Collapse is coming, and optimistically, might occur on Obama’s watch. What things will look like after The Collapse is anyone’s guess. Maybe it will look like lower Manhattan looks right now - people left to fend for themselves, with none of the promised gimmes they were not only expecting, they were utterly depending upon.
This is a very sad day for this great Nation. May God help us.

Obama won because he took 5.1 million more votes in the under 30 demographic.
That’s obviously where we need to focus. The good news that in 2016 they will be 4 years older, paying taxes (if they can find jobs) and see what their health coverage looks like. People tend to become more conservative as they get older.
That’s how I feel and I’m in Michigan. Not that stopping fraud would have made much difference, but the fraudsters stole 1000s of the real votes.
I recommend a “youth” 20 gauge pump action with a 6 rd capacity.

I was with him all the way. I prediced 300EV for Romney. I’ll have mine over easy please....
What we all missed, I think, is how far down the slipper slope we have already come. The white traditionalist American culture we grew up with is a minority now.
Often I figure my analysis of political events is as good as Rush’s. But today I would be sitting in front of an open microphone. I wouldn’t know what to say. So I’m anxious to hear how Rush handles it today.
The Dems have figured out that the POTUS election can be won based on identity politics; appearance, race, gender, and age overcome substance in the age of American Idol.
We need a minority candidate that appeals to minorities and to women. Hillary will likely be the competition, and an old, White guy will not have a chance against her.
I think they knew all along they would win. By kicking out Republican poll watchers, they were able to steal the vote in the key swing states. Fraud was rampant! Same day voter registration along with giving 2 ballots to people voting for this usurper put them over the top!
In Boston they corralled the chinese vote by giving them fake ballots and telling them who to vote for. Obama and Warren.
Those that willingly voted for this disaster deserve what they will get! I am very, very sad!
