Exit polls: Obama's winning coalition of women and nonwhites
WLS AM ^ | Nov 7, 2012

NEW YORK (WLS) - A coalition of women and nonwhites helped re-elect President Obama to a second term Tuesday night.

Obama has always performed better with women than with men, and with nonwhites than with whites. But on Tuesday night, those numbers were so much in his favor that they built Obama a powerful firewall against a dropoff in support from white men and independent voters.

Nonwhite voters turned out to vote in higher numbers than ever. They made up 21 percent of all voters. In 1996, they were just 10 percent.

That new bloc was evident in Florida, the perennial swing state that was thought to be in Mitt Romney's corner. Hispanics came out in force for Obama, in greater numbers than in 2008 when Obama beat John McCain among Hispanics in Florida 57 to 42 percent. On Tuesday, he beat Romney among Hispanics 60 to 39 percent.

And as the country tinted blue for the second presidential election in a row, it also got a little less white.

“Then we go into all out wealth confiscation most likely starting with physical gold.”

When things go bad, the end result often ends up much worse: increased power of government=less freedom.

For those of you who are calling for a collapse of the current system and then rebuild a better one, history is not on your side.

The GOP has it made if they play their cards right. They need to divide and conquer. Let Bush Tax cuts expire for everyone, don't raise the debt ceiling and let the full Obamacare kick in. This country is about to experience the misery it has never seen before.

The problem isn’t women so much as the problem is single women,

Indirectly, this is the fault of men too. They used to call it the Peter Pan Syndrome. Many men today don’t want to get married. They can usually get the “milk for free” and they don’t want the hassle and risk eventual divorce and loss of income/assets, etc. In addition, many college educated women also buy the propaganda that minority men are smarter and better than white men. So...single women look to the Government to act as a husband of sorts. Especially if they are stuck with a child and no husband.

Concur. And we need to fix 2014 before even addressing 2016. Fortunately, we’ll likely have a serious recession in 2014 to help the “out” party.

Obama and his handmaidens are going to find out that second terms are often very cruel, politically and otherwise.

That said, the greatest danger is that we lose significant ground with the entire federal judiciary. And that means real trouble for a generation.

I agree with this...single motherhood is a scourge on America.

Raising a cild without a father has become a noble undertaking and to say otherwise is treasonous...

the destruction of the family unit will become the destruction of the civilized world....we are well underway.

When Romney stated that there was no sense in working to get the vote of the 47% he was exactly right.

Blacks , Hispanics, entitlement seekers and non-taxpayers were the 47% and they carried Obama. White women put him over the top. Not married White women mind you, but Lesbians, feminists, whores who wanted their birth control and abortions paid for, Young girls who don’t know any better. Married women should know better, and I believe they do.

Obama is a moron, but his election team is brilliant. They simply wrote off white working class men. Don’t need them, don’t want them.

It’s revenge time. They talk about going after the rich, but the rich isn’t who is going to get hammered, it’s white working class men who are going to be pummeled.

Maybe. Except for the fact that in a virtual one party system, the sheeple keep voting for the party in power no matter what the conditions. As proof, I give you Detroit.

It doesn’t help when you’ve got 2 brain-dead senate candidates who can’t answer a question about rape.

As for the non-whites, the idea that you can deport (or cause the self-deportation of) 12 million people is absurd on its face. Yet, so many people in the GOP primary clammered for that Myth got to the right of Perry to force him out. (I’m not saying Perry would’ve done any better.) The absolutist position on illegal immigration sure did not help with the narrative. Although Myth flipped on the dream act in the debates, too much damage was done already.

As a woman, I do not understand these abortion obsessed females or their desire for greater government intervention in their lives. One would think they would be more concerned about safeguarding the futures of the children they have than worrying about ones they do not have and could safely avoid having with a norplant or some such birth control device or hell how about just saying no to the strange salivating male looking at them from across the bar. How can they possibly complicate their lives in such a way.

The other scary thing is that all these women wanting to keep on destroying their offspring aren’t even responsible enough to safeguard themselves against disease. If they did they wouldn’t be pregnant. Men, for god’s sake keep your stuff out of these females.

The problem isn’t women so much as the problem is single women, who want the government to be there to take care of them instead of the husband they don’t have. I think Romney actually won married women but lost single women by a huge margin.

What the Right Doesn't Get About Elections.

Even those voters would have rejected Obama if they had learned of his REAL record by the controlling news media ! Enough to make a difference.
Benghazi, Gunrunner, real people died and the MSM coverd for him.

THE WHITE, EVANGELICAL, MIDDLE AGED, MARRIED VOTERS WERE OVERWHELMED AGAIN.

The voting public is increasingly dominated by Hispanics, Youth and Single Women.

Consider:

* Blacks cast 13% of the vote and Obama won them 12-1.

* Latinos cast 10% and Obama carried them by 7-3.

* Under 30 voters cast 19% of the vote and Obama swept them by 12-7.

* Single white women cast 18% of the total vote and Obama won them by 12-6.

* Obama won 43-17 before the first married white woman or man over 30 cast their vote.

With the above, Romney would have had to win over two-thirds of the rest of the vote to win.

He did win the rest but IT WAS NOT ENOUGH.
