WASHINGTON (AP) — Voters who feel the economic outlook brightening after years of misery and believe Barack Obama better understands people like themselves propelled the president to a second term, exit polls show. Mitt Romney suffered from being labeled a champion of the wealthy over the common man.

Americans interviewed as they left their polling places Tuesday were in wide agreement that the economy is still in sorry shape. But they were less likely to blame Obama than to point the finger at his predecessor, George W. Bush.

You said...
“When Obama II fails just as Obama I, will it still be W’s fault?”

That depends on whether or not there is a major economic event that happens in his term

They will claim so (the Dems said they would claim it "forever"). The real question is, will people keep believing it?

Lies from the media boosted Obama

why am I not surprised?

meanwhile the GOP RINO’s are gonna blame Limbaugh and “bible thumpers” for the loss of their moderate candidate

I’m afraid the first sentence of this piece has it exactly right. That and the “get out of jail free” card the media gives to Obama time and time again.

I’m very sad tonight, much sadder than in 2008.

To elect him was one thing, but to re-elect this nincompoop is beyond me.

There were too many faults in Zer0 to claim economic optimism
was his winning stroke.

America has lost it’s soul.

The next years are going to be unbearable.

Completely bogus numbers. The dismal “growth” reported was all govt agencies’ end of year spending — burning off $$ to maintain their annual budgets. Not real economic growth.

I guess being unemployed and seeing storefronts shuttered and gas prices higher have less impact than lying politicians and tv talking heads.

This coming year when we can’t afford to heat and cool our homes, pay our taxes, buy groceries, run our cars, etc, maybe people will sit up and say, “Oh! How did that happen?”

Suddenly four dead Americans and a coverup don’t mean anything. With the help of the media, Obozo painted Romney as this rich guy that didn’t care about the “little guy”.
The media is Obozo’s enabler.

Does a depression count as a major economic event?
