Thanks for the bad news- heartbreaking. Most disappointing loss of the night because unlike Aiken, etc. it was 100% undeserved.

Well..he is now free to devote himself to 2016....he has the leadership skills, he has the right ideology, and with another 4 years of Obama there should be a target rich environment for him to attack any democrat who much seek to assume Barry’s mantle - that is provided Barry wants to give up the gig by 2016....if he’s packed the SCOTUS with his stooges he can almost do anything he wants...

Ultimately I think most of these lost Congressional races come down to Obama coattails. Obama turns out the kind of low-information voters who don’t pay attention, probably never heard of the candidates running, and just vote for all the D’s under Obama’s name on the ballot. West should come back in 2 years and try to win the seat back.
CNN has Michele Bachmann up by 2,000 votes in a 50/50 result.
I’m just sorry that West risked his life defending the gutless, lazy majority of this sinking ship. Waste of time, Allen.
Remember, the Dems sliced up his district to put more of their people. It was almost expected he would lose. Just damn. And I really hate that Mia Love lost.
Until then he would be a great replacement (NOT sub) for Ted Baxter.
Vernon Parker narrowly defeated apparently in Arizona as well to a Dem candidate that calls herself openly a socialist and participated in a communist party newsletter...this was highlighted in ads run by the NRCC but they elected her anyway, it appears.
