Just a point in fact for the GOP at large:

When Election Day 2016 rolls around, the GOP will enter the night having convinced more Americans to vote for their candidate than for the Democrat candidate exactly one time in 28 years.

Thats ONCE in TWENTY-EIGHT years. Just damn.

What 2016 election?

That was the last one folks.

Hell, for that matter, 2010 was the last one.

I don’t think we survive another 2 years.

GW was voted in twice in the last 12 years.

Am I missing something?

Add another 8 years to that cuz Hillary is a shoo-in for 8 years in 2016. She will be more loved than Obama by the media and Obama will be viewed by them as one of the greatest presidents ever.

GW did not win the popular vote against Gore.

As I said, the GOP will enter the 2016 Presidential Election having convinced more Americans to vote for their Presidential candidate than for the Democratic candidate exactly one time in 28 years (2004).

It is a center-left electorate now, and women voters are crushing male voters.

Clinton won the popular vote in 1992, 1996

Gore won the popular vote in 2000.

Bush won in 2004

Obama won in 2008 and 2012.

So Dems have won 5 of the last 6 popular votes. Pretty meaningless..

Let's look at the string of candidates since 1988. Let's see...George H. W. Bush, Bob Dole, George W. Bush, John McCain, Mitt Romney. Each Republican nominee more liberal than the last.

Hmmm. A string of liberal candidates, and George W. Bush, the only one who was elected twice, ended up increasing the size, scope, power, expense, and intrusiveness of the federal government (with the help of RINOs in Congress).

Maybe, just maybe, the GOP should stop nominating liberals with (R) next to their name. Because it ain't working too well.

Not necessarily. Republicans in congress can make her the target for the failed Benghazi mess - she took responsibility.

I don’t think we survive another 2 years.

People were saying this in 2008. This nation has survived worse, and as long as the Republicans in Congress don't just roll over for the Democrats, we'll survive another four years.

That isn’t accurate, 1988, and 2004.

The Rats have close to 50% of all Americans getting a Gov't check and no matter what they aren't going to vote against their checks.

Most voters admitted this in the exit polls today and it's not going to change anytime soon!

We'll have another election in 2016. It will just be more obviously a Venezuelan-style election that we won't get all excited about it.

The Evil Party beats the Stupid Party, not for the first time.

Obama has had the most incompetent and scandal-ridden administration since Grant's--and Grant won only because he was up against a crackpot. Romney was so much clearly superior to Obama as a potential leader...not another Horace Greeley.

The other historical analogy that comes to mind is if Aaron Burr had managed to become President in 1801 instead of Jefferson.

Talking about “wealth” and “corporate America” is not going to radicalize young voters enough to convince them to vote Republican.
