I tried to mentally prepare myself for this. It’s still hard to take, but at least I’m not getting a panic attack like the first time he won.

But it feels like 15% real unemployment and 16 trillion in debt ... 75x more food stsmps than jobs, executive orders, no borders, nationalized medicine.

We’ve gone past the point of return. United Soviet States will collapse. Only way the welfare state will end. What kind of world will that be?

We threw away a great nation. No getting it back.

Onward...that’s all we can do. We won’t give up our scruples or beliefs. This is a test; trial by fire. It wasn’t a landslide for Bath-House; we have plenty of company.

GIRD your loins!

Good posts above. We’ll be fine. The sun will rise and we’ll have our chance in 2016 with Rubio. I think Romney screwed himself with some of his gaffes and not allowing Ryan the chance to do more during the campaign. Still in the meantime we can’t take an us versus them approach. We’ve got big problems facing us and having no compromise among the parties is going to sink us all. Hey I’m no millionaire but I’m a job creator and I have no problem with them paying a little more for us to compromise on getting spending cuts and no tax increases on those not millionaires. Good night

Personally, I fooled myself into believing the state polls were wrong and biased.. I was wrong. I listened to the echo chamber. I think we should have won and now the county will never be serious about spending. But too bad. The rest of the county disagrees. The next time some conservative says we live in a center right county I’m going to throw a brick through the TV.

Expect more Executive Orders to be issued to further Obama’s agenda without Congressional approval, expect more spending and cronyism, and expect more social welfare programs...

Boehner won’t raise taxes. You can bank on that.

I listened to the echo chamber

If you didn't you'd have been called a "concerned troll". The best of us have.

Clinton is no where near as bad as zero. zero is a freakin’ muslim.

All those radio talk show hosts can go ph*q themselves. They could have exposed the muslim for what he was. But no, they cared more about their safety and financial situations.

Hey Rush, how’s life on that island? Sipping some tea for two?
Proud of yourself?

And you, Beck what the blazes have you done to save this Country. You didn’t expose what needed to be exposed.

Thieves all of you.

The bottom line is that the pigs have won. A once virtuous nation has elected and reelected Clinton and Obama. The pigs now hold a slight but real majority. Ben Franklin once said “We have given you a republic, if you can keep it” The inherent flaw of every democracy be it Athens, Rome, Florence. Hanover , modern day Europe or America, is that lowlifes outnumber the virtuous and eventually destroy political entities. There will always be lowlifes like Obama and Clinton, and the people who elected them. Far better for the virtuous to concentrate on their own personal lives, families and local communities.

Republicans need a leader. Romney is a decent person but no leader. I hope Rubio is the guy.

The problem from the beginning was a lack of strong candidates. The good news is that we may have a better selection next time than the Democrats have.

I am stunned you guys and feeling really bad. We thought he would win Florida.

My wife is trying to encourage me that the US survived the civil war, WWII and the great depression.

But, I seriously fear for our nation.

We are on the eve of destruction. 20 trillion in debt means and end to life as we know it.

Gas and food prizes will continue to rise.

How could this horrible president get re-elected? Are there really that many dumb asses?

I don’t want to talk to any liberals at work Wednesday. Really want to withdraw. My bitterness against liberals is growing — can’t stand them any more. They have destroyed our nation.

I live in a state where the dumb asses just legalized gay marriage and marijuana. Eve of destruction.

I remember how disappointed I was when Bob Dole lost. He was a really good man, in my view a better man than any of the Republican presidential candidates than we have had since. It’s pathetic, but as you say, we’ve been through it before.I was thinking back to 1980, the first presidential election I voted in, and the way Reagan won in a landslide and it was all over by 8 p.m. eastern. Those days are gone.\

Obama has succeeded in dividing the country. The only way the GOP will ever win the presidency again is to draw VERY CLEAR lines about why the GOP is a better choice. And the GOP must work to reach out to everyone in order to do that. It isn’t just about immigration, abortion, or any other one issue. There will always be hard-liners on any particular issue, and I count myself among them. But Romney failed to excite people. That’s the bottom line. And until the repubicans can manage to do it, they won’t win.

There won’t be any coming back from this. By 2016, even if a Republican wins the race, the economy will be in such a mess that he will simply be unable to fix it.

We had our chance this time - we failed. Obama now has his mandate to finish what he started.

Welcome to the new third-world socialist America.

[[He was corrupt, evil, divisive]]

True, but he didn’t bully the supreme court, nor did he ignore the constitution, and for htem ost part he didn’t attack religion while protecting muslims by blaming Americans liek current president is doing and will continue diong

dear leader is a whole nother level of evil than clinton was- dear leader is hell bent on destroying our moral fiber in this country, and he is hell bent on bringign about socialism- clinton ‘moderated’ somewhat- dear leader never will- especially not now that he gets to spit in our faces for another 4 years

Start the poll now - how long until we're Greece? How long to complete fiscal collapse?

My priorities have shifted significantly tonight. Go see "Skyfall?" No. Go out to dinner? No. I'm going to amp up my preparations for the coming collapse. It is inevitable now.
