Putting This In Perspective (Negative One But Still)

Posted on 11/06/2012 9:18:51 PM PST by Williams

When I contemplated this happening earlier today, I resolved not to go crazy if it did. The best I could do is to remember how horrible it was to see Bill Clinton reelected in 1996. He was corrupt, evil, divisive. Many forget he spoke to a black church and tied Bob Dole to church bombings. He also launched cruise missiles (ineffectively) at Al Queda camps for political reasons within hours of his latest attack on Ken Starr being badly received. He was a bad president and a bad man. He was impeached deservedly after that election and it was all just a further disaster. I'd say Obama is worse but I hated Clinton more and he was a terrible terrible man and president.

So that's it, we've been here before. It was horrible with Clinton. But we survived.

That's it, not much, but what can you expect on a night like tonight?

And as much as we hate Dick Morris for being full of it now, his presence in the Clinton White House convinced that horrible liberal president to tack right and save us from the worst evils of leftism.

Oh God, I'm just reminding myself how much worse this is.

[[Obama now has his mandate to finish what he started.]]

Not only that, but even more sickenly is the fact that the supreme court has essentially given obama it’s blessings to shove an unconstitutional law down our throats- and you can bet it’s just going to get worse- much much worse now that obama is loosed uopn us another 4 years

Bill Clinton understood business and capitalism. Obama does not. This is a lot worse as Obama just may destroy our golden goose.

Right at the time when other countries are beginning to see their rise we pick someone who simply does not get it.

A rich person hires employees so they can get richer. That is it...end of story. I don’t understand what the public wants if they want employment without anyone benefitting financially. Do they want all jobs to be government jobs. Really?

“I’m going to amp up my preparations for the coming collapse.”

Yeah, we need to be wise and realistic. Our economy will collapse in a few years now.

I am looking at Costco survival food. We don’t have any. Any suggestions?

"Boehner won’t raise taxes. You can bank on that."

I have repeated from the beginning that Mr.B is a useless, pompous, alcoholic, RINO country-clubber. Ask anyone who actually knows him. It was a mistake from Day-1 to put him in that important position. We need a fresh start with someone who is fearless, intelligent.....and sober.

As all of you know, I am a “ Broken Glass Republican”. I go all the way back to Roosevelt, and Wendel Wilke, so I have had some experience in coming out on the short end of the stick in the Political Arena.

I have thought about it quite a bit, and let me share two thoughts with you. #1 No matter who is elected, the financial state of our Nation is beyone help. So all the next President can do is keep printing money and making each dollar out there worth less and less. #2 I will be glad to see the complete collapse of our nation be hung around the neck of the person who caused it. Let Obama try to explain, when the money is no longer any good.#3 is a PS> if you are a Gold and Silver Hoarder, you are going to love Obama, Precious Metal is going through the roof, so just hook your seat belt and hang on. Watch the Chickens come home to roost.

I’m sure the GOP leadership will give your opinion all the consideration that it deserves.

Not Costco. The stuff at Sams is better, cheaper, & more versatile. Costco is a lib outfit. We belong to both because we buy a few things (including the dogs’ meds) that we can’t get that cheap or at all anywhere else.

It is horrible. Yes, there are some silver linings to be found. But all said, the cheating and lies along with the gross negligence of the media have squeaked out a narrow victory for their leftist takeover.

Benghazi, gun walking, Sandy, many criminal offenses, and the economic failure of this administration should have ended this presidency if just one was reported fairly and objectively.

But God is in control. This is His judgment on our wicked nation. He will take care of those who mourn the murder, theft, perversion and idolatry that has filled our land. The vitriolic left will continue to push their fascism, and Obama will lead them.

We are left to decide whether to flee or fight. Either way we know our nation is on a path to destruction, and we must prepare to protect and provide for our loved ones.

Yeah, until the prick outlaws all PM transactions and confiscates everyone's PM holdings, the way FDR did. For a "reasonable" market price, of course. LMAO.

“stuff at Sams is better,”

Thanks. We live about a mile from a Costco and I hadn’t thought about them being liberal.

You are right.

I think that it is time that we boycott liberal businesses that helped ruin our nation with this election.

I will check out Sams Club’s page.

I’m beyond upset. I’m numb and I’m shutting down for now. This country is beyond hope and the 47+ percent don’t want to hear it, so what can you do? I guess we need to hit rock bottom before the idiots figure out we are on the wrong track and try to get the country back to where we were, although I fear it’ll be too late. I’ll probably be dead and buried by then so I won’t care, but I feel sorry for my kids and grand kids, although they know how much I tried.

The only thing that gives me any comfort is telling my free-loading Obama-loving brother-in-law he’s not welcome for Thanksgiving this year. I’m done forcing myself to tolerate liberals. They can FO as far as I’m concerned.

Something to keep in mind, folks, is now dear leader and his useful idiots will have no excuse, no justification when things finally crash...and they will under dear leader’s economic stupidity.

Yeah, Obama might go the dictator route when that happens, but so what? He won’t have anything close to the blind loyalty and admiration the Germans gave Hitler (mainly because there will be no nationalistic zeal in his actions), and even as a dictator, he’ll be shouldering the burden of keeping his followers happy, and nothing can make the irrational work.

I’m as disappointed as anyone over this, but what would you rather have? Things crashing because of four years of democrat leadership under Romney and Republicans getting all the blame, probably leading to them never stepping foot in the White House for who knows how long? Or things crashing under the party that kicked out the foundation and them not having any way to escape the blame that rightly rests with them?

Right now, the thing to do is to keep fighting, to continue to stand for individual rights, to keep the spark alive. The world does not run on collectivism and sacrifice; it runs on individual rights and freedom, and we need to make certain that they will still be around when the looter’s society collapses.

America was built from scratch once when the idea of individual liberty was new and had everything against it. It can be built again when the idea is much, much more recognized.

Hear, hear. I am forced work with some pathetic, self righteous liberals and from now on I am avoiding these creeps any way that I can.

I cancelled a dinner I had with a liberal friend of mine. Frankly, I couldn’t stand listening to it. I have been friends with her for 30 years but I have been seriously contemplating telling her we just don’t share the same values. And that’s what this is all about really. The people who don’t believe in and/or revere God voted for O. Except for those who think Obama is God.

If we want to turn this country around, we have four years to change the laws for the welfare states. Mandatory drug tests for anyone receiving welfare. Positive ID for all voters to be sure they are citizens. Clean out the illegal immigrants.

Get the picture???? We’ve been had once too often and it’s time to turn the tide.

We are Argentina now. Recall that before the Perons Argentina was in the top 5 economic powers in the world. It remains a Third World basket case and the military coups couldn’t set it straight. Being Argentina is permanent, it seems. I’ll never forget how on William F. Buckley’s TV show on PBS back in the 80s an Argentinian guest warned that this was where the country was heading. William F, leaned back in his chair as was his habit, you waited when he would fall back, and dismissed the warning as was his other habit. Don’t compare us to Greece or Spain, which were never powerhouses, we are witnessing the Argentina Syndrome. Don’t cry for us, Argentina!

"....GOP leadership...."

"Leadership", boy now there's a great word for us here tonight, huh? It'd be sporting if a few of these "leaders" had the common decency to resign, wouldn't it? Whoever the heck they are.
