American People brainwashed
media | 11/6/2012 | self

The fact of the matter the exit polls show about 50% of people still blame Bush for economy. It's been four years but half the American people are too stupid to understand. It is Nazi Germany, repeat a lie over and over again and people believe it. Obama says it Pravada repeats it. The problem is Republicans need to stand up for Bush's tax policy and explain it did not cause the crisis. Everyone runs away which just further pushes that narrative. THink of the idiotic question from Candy Crowley, about what if he was Bush.

TOPICS: News/Current Events
KEYWORDS: bush; economy; stupidity
We are unfortunately dealing with a country of dumbed down, lazy people. It is going to become filled with more illegal immigrants wanting more handouts. Until we have some articulate people with a backbone and conservative media that will call out The MSM for the Liars they are, it isn't changing.

Soap box=fail
Ballot box=failing
Ammo box=preparing.

Sadly, I don’t think anything but a civil war is going to fix this.

I think that Texas should lead the way in establishing a new, independent country. Not to fight the other states. To establish the light on the hill and rebuild this nation.

I disagree, the problem is the 50% getting govt goodies. They will never vote for someone who might take those away. We are headed down the Greece path....

I’m afraid you’re close to the mark. Many Americans have lost enough of their critical faculties, abetted by the rise of the entitlement mentality, that the future prospects of the United States as a whole has been permanently compromised at this point. It is now becoming increasingly unlikely that the United States as a country can voluntarily regain the position it enjoyed anytime after the Great Depression until 2009 barring another nationwide calamity such as a world war which is far from likely to end as well for the US in the future.

Democrats wrote a law to replace the American voter.

From unionizing government, to Vietnam, to the 1965 Immigration Act, JFK was the end of us.

“However, if there is one man who can take the most credit for the 1965 act, it is John F. Kennedy. Kennedy seems to have inherited the resentment his father Joseph felt as an outsider in Boston’s WASP aristocracy. He voted against the McCarran-Walter Act of 1952, and supported various refugee acts throughout the 1950s. In 1958 he wrote a book, A Nation of Immigrants, which attacked the quota system as illogical and without purpose, and the book served as Kennedy’s blueprint for immigration reform after he became president in 1960. In the summer of 1963, Kennedy sent Congress a proposal calling for the elimination of the national origins quota system. He wanted immigrants admitted on the basis of family reunification and needed skills, without regard to national origin. After his assassination in November, his brother Robert took up the cause of immigration reform, calling it JFK’s legacy. In the forward to a revised edition of A Nation of Immigrants, issued in 1964 to gain support for the new law, he wrote, “I know of no cause which President Kennedy championed more warmly than the improvement of our immigration policies.” Sold as a memorial to JFK, there was very little opposition to what became known as the Immigration Act of 1965.”

75x more food stamps than jobs.

5 trillion in debt.

The freeloaders outnumber the the producers.

Instead of Greece which can’t print its own money (we can) we are headed for hyperinflation.

I will cease to be a political junkie as of tonight. This was, IMO the last chance to ever elect a Republican, and a RINO at that. At least we nominated a man with a head for business in the worst economy of a lifetime. I will follow politics no more. Being informed about politics means nothing. Guys on FR who think they know more than pollsters don't know shit.

I may vote in local elections, but I'm done with the rest. What can you do when a country chooses a tyrannical marxist? Even if they didn't choose him, but cheated to win, who cares. We did nothing during W's years to stop the cheating. It's too late now. game over.

Our country will thoroughly deserve whatever pain comes to it, and it WILL come. They have built one hell of a house of cards during the past 4 years to keep all of the plates spinning. When it comes, it’s going to be rapid, and ugly.

Prepare accordingly.

PS: MAYBE THE WIZARDS OF SMART AT THE RNC CAN TRY RUNNING A DAMN CONSERVATIVE FOR A CHANGE, NEXT TIME AROUND.

....Back to back ‘moderates’ (with one being the eternal darling of the media) have gotten us exactly JACK-SHIT!

I’m with you....it’s over....there is nothing special about this country, just another place on the planet with borders just like every other one (well not much of a border).

I had high hopes for tonight, but now, I could care less what happens.

An Obama win will be a victory for the media that covered up his questionable background, protected him from criticism, fought his battles for him and aided him in pushing the “Bush Did It” excuse for his lack of performance.

The country has been handed over to the moochers - until it goes bankrupt.

It’s time to Go Galt and drop out of this dysfunctional system. I am not done fighting in the political battles, but I am done being a maker rather than a taker.

I will retire in two years rather than continue to contribute tax dollars to the takers. I advise others to do the same, if financially possible.

The bottom line is Romney - for all his faults - was clearly the better man, as was McCain in ‘08. Too many Americans think European socialism is the better way to go. I don’t know how America survives. I’m amazed at how foreign the country seems all of a sudden.
