Only two good things to come out of this election:

1. The GOP held the House.

2. Paul Ryan is poised to be the de facto leader of the GOP.

RE:” We’ve taken nothing but Nebraska and lost 3. Disaster. This cycle has been very unkind the last 3 times (2000, 2006, 2012).”

I remember when I had my first visions of this loss and it was before the GOP primary even got started. It was in 2010;

Back as far as 4 years ago even BEFORE O won I predicted that Dems would take a huge beating in 2010 and I looked forward to it and it was fun.

But as that 2010 election approached 2 years ago I knew and even posted (in 2010) that Pelosi losing the house would make it much harder to beat O two years later. And as the R primary played out it certainly didn't make me feel any better.

Romney is no Scott Walker, not close. By the second debate MR was agreeing with most of what O did, while O was attacking and demonizing him as extreme. Crazy House for sure.
And we got HUGE demographic changes in this country which are challenge to conservatives and Mitt was NOT the guy to take them on..

Romney playing it safe (with a few exceptions he had a few good zingers) was a losing strategy. Much like our buddy John McCain.

I don’t know about Ryan. He didn’t deliver his state, he’s been rather establishment in the House.

Walker sounds better to me. He is man we should have nominated this time.

One thing is for sure, we have to put the bed the idea of Chris Christie 2016 before it gets started. Cory Booker 2013. I hate to say that. (we should Primary him of course but we won’t beat him)

Another year of gloating by the left, I won’t be watching any news or reading any comment sections on news articles.

We need a figure that can somewhat inspire people ala Reagan. Obviously a piece of white bread isn’t good enough.

The slimebags did turn out. We need to kill with independents and have high turnout among all our groups.

Pray we don’t have a repeat of 1998 in 2014. Clinton got more popular when we impeached him cause the economy was going good and the media lambasted us.

A continued bad economy is the best thing for us polically. But meanwhile we may starve to death in the streets. Bad situation.

Dick Morris’s last tweet an hour ago.

“Don’t give up.”

I think he’s hiding in a cave now or shot himself. His credibility is gone for good. Jon Stewart looks like a genius for mocking him. That sickens me. Stewart is scum who belong in a gulag.

Of course Barone who isn’t a loser also predicted a big win for Romney. That rat turnout machine came through.

Oh get this I don’t know if this is for real but Romney is leading the damn popular vote by 190000. What a joke. Could the EC burn US? That would give those slimebags orgasms and make me vomit. (sorry, I’m a potty mouth)

Cali is not in yet though right?

Only a few of my pals seem to on FR tonight. It didn’t load for a little bit but over all it seems to be functioning well. Good job JR.

All new “Sons of Anarchy” was on tonight, I’ll have to catch the late replay at midnight.

We have some great Republican governors on the farm team. No Christie, not ever.

I don’t know what argument could have beaten Obama. Clearly, a lot of people do not feel the economy is that bad and they don’t mind the ginormous fiscal cliff we are facing.

They don’t want a change in direction and they’re satisfied with mediocrity in job creation and economic growth. They wanted the status quo, so they’re going to get the status quo.

I still feel the specter of Bush on this election. Obama adeptly foisted off the economic problems on Bush and people bought it. How many years can Democrats get away with blaming all the nation’s ills on Bush?

It’s look out for yourself and your family time. And keep healthy.

RE :”2. Paul Ryan is poised to be the de facto leader of the GOP”

Great idea. Lets double down on disaster. the beatings just feel so good.

Look I said this 4 years ago and then 2 years ago : Republicans got to clean house. Ryan was one of the long term GOP club and he had zero success the past two years in the majority House. Hell, let him take Boehners job and lets see if he can do anything. And if that weasel McConnell had an ounce of self respect he would resign tomorrow.

2006 and 2008 and now 2012. How many humiliations till there is a wake-up call reality check?

Walker is a strong CONSERVATIVE governor who is brave and unlike Mitt took them on directly and won and he looks AND sounds good and he knows exactly how to handle an interview.
Unlike Ryan he is an outsider to DC and he has none of that DC GOP doo-doo baggage.

I think Rush is the shrewdest of the bunch. I especially give him credit as a pioneer, clearing a conservative patch in liberal MSM. It’s hard to imagine the other two I mentioned without him. Who else was there? Bill Buckley. That’s about it.

However as the years passed, and especially in defense of Bush he’s become more and more of a hack, if not for the party then for the movement. I remember him predicting Iraq would keep Dems in the minority for a generation. And he wasn’t ever an intellectual, shrewd as he is, but an entertainer. That’s what I give him credit for.

And those it’s so bad it looks like 2 states would have even made the difference.

In the 3 remaining races if the leads hold we’ve lost 2 net. Gained ONE, lost 3. This is worse than the POTUS results.
