MASSIVE TURNOUT In Red States Louisiana and Missouri
The Gateway Pundit ^ | Tuesday, November 6, 2012 | Jim Hoft

WOW! KMOX radio announced a short while ago that Missouri may have 80% turnout today! KOAM TV is reporting large turnouts. That is incredible! From what I am hearing – the Republican areas outside St. Louis City are seeing massive turnout. The word on the street is that Claire McCaskill is worried.

Governor Bobby Jindal was just on FOX News talking about the massive turnout in his state too. Both states are predicted to be solid Romney states.

Missouri was the only battleground state in 2008 that went to McCain. Romney is expected to win by at least 10 points this year.

If Akin wins, MO is the most conservative state in the country.

This could get Akin over the top.

If there are any more of these stories I am going start thinking Romney will win. My impression here in Central Pa is that we are turning out to vote against Obama, against the big city, against Obama phones and the f’n 47% percent. Just like this story ... “ outside of St. Louis”, and St. Louis is a liberal hell hole filled with hood rats just like most American cities. Talk about a post-racial president. Obama has set things back in the country 50 years.

Akin WILL win...have no fear. The people of Missouri may not think he’s the smartest candidate, but they overwhelmingly agree with his voting record over Claire McObama’s.

“The word on the street is that Claire McCaskill is worried.”

I agree if the Republican turn out is that high, Claire has reason to be worried.

Hannity reporting exit polls show it is razor tight everywhere... but the other data they offer is just crazy and not reflected in any polling out there. Sean says that something is wrong with the data... they are playing games because reports from the ground in all swing states are looking fantastic. Pay no attention... Republicans are voting in all time record numbers according to the experts on Sean's show. 85% turnouts in Republican areas... 1.5 hour lines in Ohio in heavy Republican areas... they are begging people NOT to leave the lines but to stay and vote vote vote!

I voted at a small, rural precinct today in MIssouri at 6:45am and was the 108th paper ballot voter (they had machines, too). There were about 15 people in line when I finished.

My polling place is the sleepy little Edgemere Grange hall in North Idaho’s HooDoo Valley. In the last 13 years I’ve lived and voted here, There have never been more than a handful of vehicles parked there on election days. Today, it was packed. After I filled out my ballot and had it taken and placed in the ballot box, the poll worker, an older guy like me, shook his head and said that he had never seen such a turnout in all of his years there.

This is people rising up. This is people taking a stand. Anyone who thought the whole Chik-fil-A deal was about chicken sandwiches doesn’t get it. That’s why the polls and the prognostications are all so wrong. People acting on principle is an intellectual non-sequitur to the liberal apologists and collectivists who dominate the mainstream media. To them, we’re mostly invisible or objects of scorn and derision when we’re not. The sneering punch line to a a liberal cocktail party joke.

We’ll see who’s laughing now...

“If Akin wins, MO is the most conservative state in the country”

I offer Oklahoma for that title. After tonight, our entire delegation will be R. (sorry Dan Boren who is retiring rather than switch parties while his father is still alive).

In both 2004 and 2008, the Dem candidate for Pres failed to win even one of Oklahoma’s 77 counties. Not one.

Add to that our R Gov, Senate and House. And open carry. I love me some redneck Oklahoma.

I live in a VERY conservative part of Louisiana, just east of (liberal hellhole) Baton Rouge. I went to vote around 11:30, and there was no place to park, and the line was out of the building! I’ve never seen that before, ever. I went back around 2PM, and had only about 5-6 people ahead of me. I get the feeling it will be packed again after people get off work. This morning in a coffee shop, I could hear people talking about how they’d already voted, and how crowded it was. (And also about getting 0sama out of office!)

I’m currently standing in a long line to vote. This is by far the longest line I’ve ever been in for any election. Obama will win my district handily.

It is look good where I am. Mrs. ConservativeInPa and I want to vote before work. We got to the polls, 10 minutes early. We were 38th and 39th when the polls opened. There was another 40 or so people behind us at 7 am. When we left, there were cars waiting for a parking space. I just got to talk to my wife and she said she glanced at the book where they write down your name before giving you a ballot. They put a D or an R next to your name. There was only one D. That’s out of 39 people. Our county is about 70% Republican.

Now consider this. Romney went to Pittsburgh two hours ago. No rally. It was announced that his plane would land and leave in a motorcade. Here’s a pic of the people that showed up just to look at Romney. They were held back at a parking garage for safety reasons. https://mobile.twitter.com/dgjackson/status/265911088179208192/photo/1?

That is Pittsburgh, not a Republican area at all.

Will there be another 115% “turnout” in East St. Louis this year?

I’m a native Shreveporter now in southwest Arkansas. I did not see one ad for Flemming. On the other hand, I didn’t see an ad for the democrat canidate. Have the democrats thrown in the towel?

This morning was the largest turnout at my polling place I have seen.

I voted in small town in Missouri at 1:00 pm today. Poll workers said heavy turnout all day. Had about 20 people ahead of me. About 626 had voted prior to receiving my ballot.

We are a socially conservative, fiscal conservative, but way more Democrats than Republicans(Miners and Autoworkers). Last Time Obama only won our county by 4 votes.

My take is that people of faith, bitter clingers to guns, and people who work are out in force for Romney.

People getting Government goodies are out voting to protect their “benefits”.

I expect that Romney/Ryan will win - but who knows.
