During the second presidential debate of 2012, President Barack Obama said, “What I’m trying to do is get a broader conversation about how we reduce the violence generally. Part of it, is seeing if we can get an assault weapons ban reintroduced.”
You can bet he meant what he said. Obama has a long history of holding anti-Second Amendment views, despite portraying himself as pro-hunter and reasonable about gun control. A second term spells trouble for law-abiding citizens wanting to exercise their right to keep and bear arms: Obama is strongly opposed to concealed carry, has supported gun owner licensing and gun registration and voted to ban semi-automatic rifles, handguns and ammunition during his time in the Illinois State Senate. He even voted for the criminal prosecution of those who use a firearm in self-defense.
“I don’t believe that people should be able to own guns,” Obama told author and economist John Lott, according to an interview Lott did on the Michael Medved Show in 2008.
The effects of a second Obama term will reach far beyond the next four years and will have grave consequences for gun owners. If re-elected, Obama will have as many as three opportunities to place more anti-Second Amendment judges on the Supreme Court… for life. During his first term, he appointed Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor, both of whom, as you might expect, have staunch anti-Second Amendment records.
First Lady Michelle Obama understands the power her husband holds should he receive another four years.
“We’re going to make a choice that will impact our lives for decades to come… let’s not forget what it meant when my husband appointed those two brilliant Supreme Court justices… let’s not forget the impact that their decisions will have on our lives for decades to come,” she said...

People need to start thinking of a couple of things -
one, getting some guns that are “off paper”, and
two, get some “give away” guns for when the JBTs come to confiscate them.

He wouldn't mind having a well armed civilian army of auxiliaries, either formally under General Big Sis of the DHS, or informally, as self-redistributing criminals among whom his people are highly represented. Has he come down hard on guns actually used in crime? Has he proposed extra-strict penalties or harsh enforcement of existing laws for gun-wielding criminals or gang bangers? No, he has not. In fact, he's run guns to Mexico for shady reasons of his own, and he's pushed for social justice in the form of race based penalties (in schools as well as in the judiciary).

Impeachment requires an opposition that observes honor and a two thirds vote in the Senate to remove him or her from office. I'm almost sure that the House considered impeaching Holder. They chose to vote for Holder being in contempt of Congress.

The great irony is, as all firearms enthusiasts know, that Barack has done more to promote gun sales over the last four years than any other President in history.
Prices of AR-15s soared in his early years and are still fairly high.
What I want to know is what Homeland Security intends to do with the large purchase of millions of rounds of ammo.

FReepers bombarding me with comments of having already been posted. I’ve tried searching FR using three different browsers to make sure it’s not a matter of some specific issue with any one browser but could not do a search with any of them, Firefox, Google Chrome, IE9.

It means the Republicans in Congress better not roll over for the Democrats like they’ve done in the past.
It’s time for mainstream Conservatives to start looking for ways to salvage what we can of our nation by thinking of ways to restore our Constitution that work outside the corrupt and unconstitutional system. Anyone seriously talking about the 2016 presidential elections need to wake up. It’s time for states to start ignoring blatant unconstitutional laws and mandates without wasting time or money in our corrupt system. That’s where we are at right now regardless of what you think about the situation. It’s a joke trying to change things from within when you know it’s impossible. Our founding fathers wouldn’t waste their time doing that, and neither will anyone out their who can accept the truth of just how bad our situation is.
