Voted at 7.30 am Sunnyvale, Santa Clara County (Silicon Valley). Busy but small queue. Paper ballot. Props 30 and 32 are main issue here. I voted for Mitt and against Unions.

I voted 7:30 A.M. in North Los Angeles County a small number were voting at the same time. Most people in our area must leave before the polls open to get to work. Held my nose and voted for Romney. With joy in my heart I voted against Proposition 30.

I'm predicting a strong showing for Romney in Cal. 0bama has devastated small businesses in California and the unemployment rate is over 10% while illegal aliens are gainfully employed!

A Romney win in Cal?

They have bigger economy in south central LA alone, than the entire state of Tennessee.

I live in California and won’t vote until I get home from work this evening... but I have an interesting observation...

At work, there is a extraordinary amount of RED clothing being worn today. This was not planned in any way, but I’m seeing many men wearing red shirts and ladies wearing red blouses.

I was standing in my closet this morning trying to figure out what to wear, when I decided, “screw it, I’m wearing RED” to support the GOP. Apparently, many others had the same thought.

Jeez Jenny - I think you are one of the very few holding your nose for a Romney vote. Good grief.

Second in line this morning! Poll workers were slow but very thorough in checking addresses, etc. Voted for Romney and against Moonbeam tax measure.

I'll be voting in the Sunnyvale City Hall area this evening - we must be near neighbors.

'As goes Sunnyvale, so goes the Nation...'
-chortle - Hopefully not. Nice place, but Sunnyvale (as the rest of Santa Clara County) seems to have swallowed the Democrat Kool-Aid long ago.

Jenny’s not alone. In 08 I voted for Palin; in 12 I vote for Ryan. Romney better keep his paws off my mortgage deduction and keep the feds outa states rights or he’s gonna be a one-termer too. just sayin’

“The Cali voters wake at the crack of noon to vote for more free stuff....”

...And the rubes log on to Free Republic to type “Cali,” unsure how to spell the state’s name.

Uncharacteristically crowded at my polling place in San Diego. At 6:55 there were thirty people waiting for it to open. It’s always just been one or two. They made a big fuss over it officially opening and the first vote cast. By the time I got to the front there were at least thirty more behind me waiting. There easily would have been a hundred in and out that first half hour. That’s huge for us.

Lots of people fired up about our mayoral race and that’ll get more San Diegans out too. With a strong military presence, a pretty conservative area, and a lot of Mormons, plus the mayoral race being passionate, I think it’ll be even more votes for R/R than in the past few years GOP wise here in SD.

In my little evenly divided Rep & Dem hamlet in So. Cal, I had to wait for the 1st time in 8 years to vote this am @ 8am. Hopefully, we can pick up a house seat or 2 and defeat some of these lame brain propositions. I did my duty although I know Romney doesn’t win Ca and “I won’t debate” feinstein will also win. If Romney does better than McLame I guess that’s the best Ca outcome if you’re a conservative. Geez.

Ah California, why don’t you wake the hell up?

Hubby & I dropped our ballots off at our poll in Huntington Beach..little before 8am. Line out the door & cars piling in but could be due to people voting before work. Mix of voters...Voted against tax props & Yes on 32!

“A Romney win in Cal?”

That would be the mother of all upsets. I’m not holding my breath, but I think Obama’s margin of victory will be much smaller in CA than it was in ‘08.
