Got to the poll in Caledonia at 6:30AM and was number 31 to vote.
Probably 200+ people in line when I left.
Feels like a land slide.

When you post please tell us whether your region is “red” or “blue”. The rest of us do not have the slightest idea whether a long line is a good thing or a bad thing because we do not know the local politics.

And what makes you think the 200+ people in line braving the cold before sun up aren’t obama voters?

Oh, wait....

You do realize that “AM” is an abbreviation for “morning”, right?

Was around 120 this morning in my ward in WFB around 7:40. Nice line.

We’re close to 500 absentee votes in our ward alone.

Saw this on Twitter: Obama could take an early lead but once the Republicans get off of work things will change.

Drove past two polling locations on my morning commute. Holy Cow! My area of Waukesha County is turning out like I have never seen before. There were more cars at either place than I have ever seen before.

For those who do not know, Waukesha County is the reddest of the red counties in our purple state.

May the heros of Benghazi be proud of how we vote today.

They gave their lives for us, now we need to give our votes for them.

Vote as if the lives of our Military Men and Women depended on it.

Tried to go vote at 7:15am but the place was packed so I went back at a bit after 8am. Still busy but not as bad. Holmen, WI -

Hope a lot of voters have switched from O to Romney - I know of four people myself - WI will go for Romney!

Haven’t voted yet, and very likely won’t have much to offer when I do as our rural area is usually pretty quiet (150-250 voters all day).

However, western Wisconsin saw first snowfall today, and it’s one of those wet, sloppy, miserable ones, not the light fluffy stuff. It’s melting fast, but it’s just one of those days when it’s no fun to go outdoors.

Not exactly ground-up glass, but I’ll take it. Some Obama voters might take one look out the window and roll back over and go back to sleep.

One further note: A friend in northern WI called the local GOP to see if he could offer any help, other than phone calling. He asked if he could drive people to polls, anything like that? He was told that they have it all covered. The GOP is well organized, thanks to the earlier recall elections.
