Obama, Romney Tie in Dixville Notch, NH
WGME TV ^ | November 6, 2012 | N/A

In a sign that the 2012 presidential election is likely to be a close race, President Barack Obama and Republican nominee Mitt Romney each received 5 votes in the town of Dixville Notch, NH. The votes are the first official votes tallied in the 2012 Presidential race. In 2008, President Obama defeated GOP nominee John McCain 16-5 in Dixville Notch, en route to a convincing electoral win.

Its a Blue region... I’m not exactly feeling the love for him.

Obama was a craze like Cabbage Patch Dolls, Pet Rock and all the other fads America developed a liking for. Now he’s a known quantity.

The magic is off!

Despite the media hype Obama is not leading in the key swing states where the election will be decided.

Yes, I think the Democrats aren’t coming out for Obama like the polls said they would.

O is under 50% in the last batch of polls and the election is only tied because of heavy Democrat oversampling.

My gut tells me its not going to be 2008.

Yup. Add to that the fact that O’s final rallies were very poorly attended and I think people came there to see the celebrities or Bubba.

O is no longer able to command the kind of huge crowds who came out for him in 2008.

That to me said a lot more about his fortunes than the polls.

I just hope that it will not be 2000 either. I sense there are lawyers at the ready just in case: it’s close after all.

Harts Location is a gay resort town. The Notchland Inn advertises to the GLBT crowd.

I can just see legal teams challenging the result.

Actually, 2008 was the first time they’d voted for a Democrat in 40 years. They are more deep red.

GLBT is the Obama demographic—paraded in administration propaganda, toasted at the White House like they invented electricity.

Oh, wait, the administration hates electricity.
