Obama, Romney Tie in Dixville Notch, NH
WGME TV ^ | November 6, 2012 | N/A

Posted on 11/05/2012 11:07:31 PM PST by AZLiberty

In a sign that the 2012 presidential election is likely to be a close race, President Barack Obama and Republican nominee Mitt Romney each received 5 votes in the town of Dixville Notch, NH. The votes are the first official votes tallied in the 2012 Presidential race. In 2008, President Obama defeated GOP nominee John McCain 16-5 in Dixville Notch, en route to a convincing electoral win.

Dixville Notch is a Deep Blue Democrat town.

It does not look well for O to have it tied there.

That means he goes down in the rest of the country!

You know we can all have a chuckle at the supposed significance of this but it is another sign. Not good for Obama.

Well if this is the best he can expect in Blue States, he is really struggling.

He should have won Dixville Notch in a breeze. What is shocking is that Romney is competitive there!

Deep Blue Democrat town he won in a landslide four years ago and all he can manage is a tie?

That tells me his national numbers must be underwater and this is supposed to be his strongest region!

Perhaps the Obama voters moved to Hart’s Location, the other early voting location in NH. In 2008, it was 17 to 10 for Obama. In 2012, 23 to 9 for Obama.

Vote!

So, eleven are sending a message? Not voting for mitt, but feel Obama is going the wrong way?

You know a bunch of left wing nitwits would conspire like that....

If that holds true across the country, Romney should win very comfortably.

Remember that Republican voter enthusiasm is at all time high and Romney should overperform relative to the final poll result.

Why? Because Democrat turnout will be way down from 2008. This is this first indication this election is not going to be 2008 at all, it may be more like 2004.

Not good news for the Democrats.

Hart’s Location is a Deep Blue Democrat town - more like New England in general.

The Obama landslide is not exactly a shocker.

To clarify those Hart’s Location numbers:

2008: 17 for Obama, 10 for McCain
2012: 23 for Obama, 9 for Romney

2008: Harts’ Location had 27 voters
2012: Harts’ Location has 33 voters

2008: O wins 62% of the vote
2012: O wins 77% of the vote

O has improved on his vote showing here!

0bama 16 to 5 in 2008. 5 to 5 in 2012. Looks like 11 of Obama’s 2008 supporters stayed home this time.

If a lot of O voters stay home because they can’t muster up enthusiasm for Bamster, it may be a short night tonight.

Pray for America!
