Philly Activist Group Shreds GOP Voter Registrations
Briebart.com ^ | 5 Nov 2012, | Mike Flynn

The Community Voters Project is a "non-partisan" lefty organization whose mission is to register people to vote, with a particular emphasis on minorities. In the 2008 election, they had offices in 10 states and registered around 300,000 minority voters. So far, so good. This year, however, it seems they aren't registering everyone who wants to vote. Outside a CVP office in Philadelphia, for example, they shredded and threw away numerous registration forms. A number of these were for people trying to register as a Republican.

A citizen-journalist came across a large bag of trash outside the CVP office in Philadelphia. Glancing at it, the citizen saw what looked like shredded registration forms. The pictures in this post are from CVP's trash. The photo above clearly shows that the voter who submitted the shredded registration form was registering as a Republican.

You're right if you think this sounds a lot like ACORN and its litany of problems with voter fraud. CVP used to work along side ACORN, and several of its employees have worked for both organizations. CVP has also had significant problems with fraud. Several of its employees were indicted in 2008 for voter registration fraud. (See here, here and here, for example.)

Groups like CVP applaud themselves for ensuring that any eligible citizen is able to register and vote. If their efforts, because of where they focus their attention, result in registering more voters who are likely to vote Democrat, there's nothing wrong with that. If a person is eligible, they should register and be encouraged to vote. But, if they come across someone who wants to register as a Republican, can they not shred the registration form? See, with groups like CVP, it isn't really about extending the voting franchise. Its about electing Democrats.

I know in my heart that Romney and the GOP congress will never do anything about it however.

They're all busy encouraging early voting which is a liberal scam which weakens the process.

The presences of the criminal Holder at the head of the unJustice Depaertment should be enough to stone the fools who would vote third party or not vote, since these fools are literally resigning from their role as sovereigns responsible to get rid of the criminals now running things! Little barry bastard degenerate drug addled SOetoro is telling his thuggery to ‘vote out of revenge’! His degenerate ass should be in Levenworth for the rest of his miserable life! I use two canes to get around, and there is no force known to man that will stop me from voting tomorrow. It is my responsibility, to my God, my grandchildren, and my fellow Americans ... and by God in Heaven to our men at arms who are nothing but fodder to this lying Canadian born, Indonesian citizen sonofabitch claiming he was born in Hawaii.

“DEFUND THESE BASTARDS’

Why are we even funding them in the first place!?!

Go to, or mail in, you registration to the Board of Elections, andthey will mail you a voter registration card. So simple.

Quit allowing these fringe groups to corrupt the process!

I honestly don’t want anybody to vote who can’t be bothered to go to the state office for a few minutes and fill out the forms. I do not anybody to vote who will not be bothered to get themselves to the polls as opposed to being rounded up and bussed there by obviously partisan organazations, while getting free food on the ride. I’m fine with shuttles for old people and for people who CAN’T get to the poll for whatever reason, but these shuttles should be run by the state election board, and I would gladly have them use my tax dollars to run those shuttles.

These groups that round up derelicts and indigents, wine them and dine them, and tell them what to vote for really need to be banned.

Take a deep breath. Now exhale. Voter registration ended in PA a month ago. Check the Dept. of State website. While Philadelphia numbers are not good for Republicans, that has been the case for decades. Philadelphia will vote 83% for Obama. There is no stopping that. But look at what is happening in the rest of the commonwealth. Allow me to be edgy, but most of the state gets called Pennsyltucky or PAlambama. The root of that has to do with racism. Personally, I don't like those names, but Obama has set back racial relations almost to the point when I was in high school and when it was a sport to throw minorities down stairs. (Yes, there were race riots in Pa during the 70's) Today, Pennsyltucky is more motivated to vote Obama out of office than Philadelphia is vote to keep Obama in office.

Anytime there is an article such as this one, people in PA immediately identify with it in racial terms because of the racial make up in Philadelphia. AND it motivates them to vote against Obama.

“They’re all busy encouraging early voting which is a liberal scam which weakens the process.”

I agree- That is another scam. I have had people here cry about how nice it is to vote early for one reason or another.
So tell me how is that some states- Even some liberal ones have never had early voting days.

Why is there registration by party to begin with? A person should be able to register to vote and then party chosen when voting in the primary. Party registration only leads to this type of disenfranchisement

This stuff is treason. I am serious that the death penalty should be administered after due process is given.

Michigan is moving to the right as our voting laws get even tougher. We even had a citizenship checkbox on our ballot application but liberals got an injunction to get it removed a few weeks back. Our voter ID law is now firmly in place.

Photobucket

In fact, I'm OK with making certain concessions for people living in remote areas for mail in or absentee ballots but only for those who really need them.

I know how to create jobs. Require people to have a job to be able to vote. Our employment rate would be 100%

I would like to see what that map would have looked like in say 1970-1980. I admit I don’t really know but I suspect it was mostly all white, as it should be.

[ If Romney gets elected then he should convene a group to study how to impose a Federal law on Federal elections that eliminates all these fraudulent schemes used most by the left to steal votes. Voting is a personal responsibility. If you do not take that responsibility then you should not vote at all. I know in my heart that Romney and the GOP congress will never do anything about it however. ]

Dear Gawd, the stuck pig squealing from the left would be so loud only the people on the ISS would be able to get any sleep if that happened!!!
