GOP Political Director: It’s Game Over For Obama
Gateway Pundit ^ | November 5,2012 | Jim Hoft

Posted on 11/05/2012 5:36:21 PM PST by Hojczyk

RNC Political Director Rick Wiley released this statement today. Republican insiders are very confident going into the election tomorrow.

The Obama camp has been firing off a number of memos in desperate attempt to convince the media (and themselves) that they’re not losing. What they aren’t telling you is this isn’t 2008; the numbers show we’re doing much better in early voting, and they are doing much worse.

But more importantly we are poised to blow the Obama campaign out on Election Day thanks to a superior GOTV program and a historical GOP Election Day advantage

In the four party-registration states (Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada), we are poised to win the Election Day vote by even greater margins than we did in 2008. That’s right, Jeremy Bird, we beat you on Election Day even in 2008.

And in Ohio, Republicans have 368,000 more high-propensity voters available than Democrats–72 percent more, in fact–and enough to off-set the Obama campaign’s most optimistic (and unrealistic) early vote math.

So, when you add it all up, the Democrats’ early vote advantage just isn’t big enough. Republicans will come out ahead, and Mitt Romney will claim victory. And our superior ground game will ensure that the margin of victory is even greater than these numbers would suggest.

The Obama campaign’s superior ground game is a myth. They claim they have double and triple the people and offices across the country, yet poll after poll has shown voters have been contacted equally if not more by the Romney campaign and the Republicans. It goes to show you what big government bureaucracy gets you.

I’m glad Democrats are so eager to talk about their ground game. The more they talk, the more they prove the numbers don’t add up.

It’s (ground) game over.

I saw Reince Preibus in a couple of interviews today, and he seemed very confident, almost giddy.

That’s what I heard a few days ago from Carl Cameron who was on the campaign plane with Romney..said that Romney was “Giddy” and making jokes that whenever someone went into the bathroom he would knock on the door saying to hurry up he needs to go..doesn’t sound like a guy whose going to lose..Romney looks like a winner

Relax Charlie. Our OH people have done amazing work-—by traditional measures three times better than the “ average” campaign. Normally a “good” precinct captain will get 10-20% response from his precinct. Our guys in Dayton are getting 60 and some 80, meaning that they can ensure that 60% of their people vote (this % includes indies, not just Rs).

True!

Hey it’s better than hearing not to panic or whatever it was that Obama’s campaign was saying during their conference call this morning.

Its all about GOTV!

Did Republicans win the election day vote in Nevada in 2008? I was pretty sure the Dems won both the early voting in Nev. and election day voting. Early voting by Dems is way, way down in Nev, but they still led by 7 points a day or two ago. Nevada could be very close, but it is winnable for Republicans. However, the numbers make it a lot more questionable than states like Fla or North Carolina for example.

I’ll be waiting in line at 6:15 am tomorrow. In the past, that guaranteed first in line. This year? Don’t think so.

Just opened my first Samuel Adams Chocolate Bock of the season. This is a great beer! Now the Coffee Stout didn't make the holiday 12-pack this year but maybe they will sell that separately. That is also a fantastic winter beer.

Anyway, that is great news about Ohio. Some hand-wringers are all worried that Romney has seen fit to travel to Cleveland tomorrow - they see it as an act of desperation. However, I see it as an act of strength. If you are already confident of winning, why not look to extend the margin of victory a little bit more? Also Romney will be making a quick stop in Pittsburgh as well. No way would Romney bother doing this if he didn't also think PA was winnable.

I see it differently. Obama is here today (as is Romney) and he wants to make sure he keeps the last news cycle here.

Nate Silver has it 91% chance Obama wins. Even if he does win, how can someone make such a one sided prediction based on the evenness of the national polls? Somethings fishy.

I have Old Fezziwig on deck and time permitting, I'll get to the Holiday Porter before turning in for the night. The Winter Classics 12-pack is my favorite of all the Sam Adams offerings. They usually start showing up in stores around Halloween.

Tomorrow night however, I hope to put the beer on hold and open a bottle of champagne in honor of Romney being elected our 45th president.
