The Patriot-News at one time published two editions per day (morning and evening). That became one edition. Beginning Jan. 1, they will publish three times per week. Throughout this entire period, population has increased in the region that The Patriot-News serves.
The Patriot-News is based in Cumberland County (previously it was in Harrisburg City, which is in Dauphin County). The following lists the counties that The Patriot-News server and how they voted in 2010 for Gov. Corbit (R):
73% - Adams
70% - Cumberland
61% - Dauphin
74% - Lebanon
79% - Perry
71% - York
While I want to have a local newspaper, I refuse to buy this rag and I await the day that it goes bankrupt. The editors are clueless and completely out of tune with its readers. They arrogantly think they know what is right for their readers - Just like the mainstream media.
May their liberal reporters be unemployed for a very long time.
Be sure to make noise when you do it...BTW Christians particularly catholics should be urged to vote a straight Republican ticket. As one we had car top signs reading...SAVE LIVES..AND SEND A MESSAGE....VOTE STRAIGHT REPUBLICAN..posted in the parking lot .at every service (mass)of our local catholic church Saturday and Sunday.... It was at these masses the pastor read the bishops letter to the congregation condemming the administration for violating our constituional rights...It was never mentioned by our local media here in Wisconsin

As I am writing this from my home in Green Bay, WI in 2012... you get the idea that they make mistakes and have been making mistakes for years.
I hope Romney wins PA. If you need election night cheer, I suggest the G-Man in Carlisle. They were always nice folks with a great burger and cheap Rolling Rock.

It’s nothin’ to do with topography .. the Susquehanna flows in that direction cuz Harrisburg sucks that hard !
