A Chicago lawyer is the key player behind the secret talks between the US and Iran. Yedioth Ahronoth reported Monday. A close friend of Michelle Obama, Valerie Jarrett is assisting the US government communicate behind the scenes with the representatives of Iran's supreme leader Ali Khamenei.

Jarret, who was born in the Iranian city of Shiraz, is a senior advisor to US President Barack Obama.

Last month, The New York Times reported that the US government is engaged in secret talks with Iran aimed at establishing a direct line of communication once the US presidential elections are over.

The National Security Council's spokesperson denied there is any agreement between the US and Iran regarding direct talks, but the following day senior government officials confirmed that talks took place though no future meeting was scheduled.

It’s time the Congress hold hearing with Valerie Jarrett under oath. If she is in charge, the country needs to hold her accountable for the unholy mess we are in.

Jarrett was born in Iran, but to non-Muslim American parents. Her father was a doctor, there as part of a leftwing program to improve medical care in the 3rd world. Sounds familiar? Obama's leftist mother raising him in Indonesia. Timothy Geithner's leftist parents raising him in India and Thailand.

I agree. There are a lot of traitors in our government now, starting at the top. Does everyone here realize that if Obama wins another election against a strong candidate like Romney, with a totally fed-up electorate like we have now, then our country is lost forever? If Romney can’t win now, then what chance does a non-Socialist candidate ever have in the future? If Obama wins, prepare to become Venuzuela, and it will happen so fast it will make our heads spin. Did you ever think you would see a time when the majority of the media existed for nothing else than to spread Democratic propaganda? That was something we would have expected only in Russia. Now we look to the overseas papers, including Pravda, to hear news our media is too much in the bag to publish. Even if Romney does win, he’s only in for four years before he has to run again. Our government service is packed with Obamanites, who aren’t going anywhere. We need to turn to God and pray for guidance like we never have before. There are very dark forces at work in our country now and we need to open our eyes to what kind of a legacy our children are facing.
