Our local paper, the Indiana Gazette, has endorsed Bob Casey instead of Tom Smith! UGH!!! How stupid! They already have a falling readership. I won’t be surprised if they lose more now.

Recently a number of young people in Indiana County have killed themselves including teenagers..My daughters step daughter is being harassed in school pushed into lockers...calling her cell phone..telling her to kill herself..etc..one is a friends daughter.they says it’s kids being kids..The principle wanted to talk to them they would not stop..he had to chase them down..Westmoreland County is where they live. We say she should home school her...parents let they kids have the run of the land they don’t care..

Greg-that story about your step daughter makes me so sad and mad at the same time. We have had a few suicides out here...usually by train. I home schooled my son for two years. I will say this-if she is being bullied there is no way she is able to put 100% into learning. She is not paying attention in class if she has to worry that when the bell rings, who is going to be waiting for her in the halls. She is not focusing on homework and studying if they are calling or texting her cell in the evening. And kids/teens feel things way deeper than we can imagine.
She has been quiet although she was on Fox last night. I am jealous you are so close to the Oakmont Bakery!
