It is neither partisan nor mad to predict a Romney victory. Mitt still has the XFactor

This weekend, I must confess to having had doubts about Romney’s chances of winning. Repeated bad news about Ohio and Obama’s post-Sandy bump left me hitting the Scotch and sticking pins in my Nate Silver voodoo doll. But on Sunday night's XFactor, the good Lord sent me a sign. All the acts had been voted through to next week’s round except for Kye Sones (talented singer/former chimney sweep) and Rylan Clark (tone deaf gay guy). I put a bet out on Twitter: “If Rylan wins, Romney wins.” Why? Because the poll analysts would give both men the same tragically low odds...

--snip--

3. The conservative America Future Fund poll puts Romney ahead by 1 per cent in Minnesota. The pollster puts it down to the state’s racial demographics: “Minnesota is very much a battleground state due the low minority population of the state and President Obama’s problems with white voters. Romney has a good chance to pull off one of the biggest upsets of the election cycle in this state.” Another theory is that there’s a gay marriage referendum taking place and evangelicals are fired up.

Second, there’s growing evidence of an enthusiasm gap between Democrats and Republicans...

The polls don’t measure this because they all assume its 2008 and they’re all in the tank for Obama.

More the better ... I almost expect to see one or two suicides or nervous breakdowns on each of the cable news channels, including Fox. Anyone who thinks Shep Smith, Geraldo Rivera or about half of the hired help pundits are conservatives isn’t paying attention. Hollywood and Broadway the same thing. Their tears should be especially delicious with a side of schadenfreude.

I think the selling point, the keywords that a successful car salesman may use was how Romney countered Obamas “revenge” remarks.

That was probably the kicker to seal the deal.

Plus images of Obama being elsewhere while people are freezing to death on Staen Island. The lack of real leadership obviously shows. And Romney is way more patriotic.

Obamas litlle brain wave hypnosis machine just had its cord pulled. people are waking up and are going, “Huh?”

And the silent majority that cannot be counted has a deeper more solemn purpose than the other side that is fainting or too eager for the next Obama giveaway or chant.
