Chris Matthews: Romney Using Obama ‘Revenge’ Line Is Racist

Chris Matthews opened up yet another attack on the Romney campaign for being racist tonight when he aired a clip of Romney’s new line rebuking President Obama for urging his supporters to vote based on revenge. “President Obama asked his supporters to vote for revenge,” Romney intoned. “For revenge? Instead, I ask the American people to vote for love of country.”

Matthews was furious. “Where did that line come from? What’s the antecedent to that? Where’d it come from?” he asked.

After an explanation by Alex Wagner, Matthews responded that the slam was probably racially motivated.

I saw this too. Matthews is outraged that Romney is calling Obama out on his (Obamas) ‘Vote for revenge’ line and he says now he is convinced that Romney is selling racism.

He went further saying that the ‘Vote for revenge’ line that Romney is using to call Obama out on for saying it is just a racist attempt to make whites fearful on non-whites if Obama wins. Like fear of reparations.

It wasn't Obama calling on Dems to vote for him for revenge that was wrong, it was Romney calling O out on it that is racist.

This is officially the nuttiest and most dishonest trick that I have seen Matthews try.
