Romney Wins in a Landslide (at Least in Israel)
The Times of Israel ^ | Nov. 5, 2012 | Abraham Katsman

On the election map, the State of Israel is not just blue and white; it is solidly red.

The Presidential election results are in. Well, at least the votes from Americans in Israel. Not one to keep readers in suspense, I’ll reveal the most important numbers up front: Gov. Mitt Romney received 85%–85%!–of the vote; President Obama managed only 14.3%. This, according to exit polling just released by iVoteIsrael, the non-partisan group promoting and facilitating voting by U.S. citizens currently in Israel. Their statistics reveal some fascinating results. More importantly, these results have implications for the outcome of next week’s election. (Again, not to keep you in suspense: those implications favor the Republicans.)

First, that 85% should be seen in a broader perspective. Israel has become a “red state” through such a solidly Republican vote. In fact, if Israel were in the United States, it would be the “reddest” state in the entire country. Redder, even, than Utah, or Wyoming or Oklahoma. Significantly redder. That should be a startling development for the Democrats, who once owned the pro-Israel vote....

This is pretty easily explained.

Not many Blacks or Homosexuals in Israel, and the women there have to perform military duties, which makes them more responsible.

78% of the Jewish electorate in the US voted FOR Obama in 2008, and they have favored the democrat candidate for President in each of the last 10 Presidential elections. Quite honestly, the American Jew obviously does not care about their homeland.

The 85% of Americans abroad in Israel voting for Romney shouldn't surprise anyone. That's exactly the number I predicted here on another thread a couple of weeks ago!!! (McCain got 75% in '08.)

But the 'Rats shouldn't be shocked either, not when their convention was split down the middle as to whether "Jerusalem is the capital of Israel" should be included in their platform. That was merely rubbing salt into the wound created by the Islamist-loving "Osama" Obama with his dissing of Israel from the get-go.

Pro-Israel Americans, Jews and Christians alike, have a laundry list of reasons to do what ever they can to oust him from the White House!!!

The likelihood of a Jew being republican is directly proportional to their Jewish commitment.

In Spain 1492 only half of he Jews left. The other became good Catholics. americanjewry is akin to the Jews that stayed in Spain

This year the guess here is that Zero will get no more than 60% of the total American Jewish vote, and Romney will wind up with a higher percentage of the American Jewish vote than any GOP presidential candidate since Warren Harding.

I sure hope you are correct. It embarrasses me that Jews vote so heavily Democratic.
