I compiled and produced video footage obtained during field work in Central Africa to expose and educate NYC high school students about life and to schooling in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda. In 2011, I will engage in discussions with youth to promote intercultural understanding and opportunities. As a FLAS Fellow in 2010 and 2011, I studied Swahili and conducted field research in Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. In 2011 I piloted a literacy program for illiterate mothers in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. I composed my Masters thesis as a proposal to construct a community center for female literacy in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

I trained in Swahili language to support research interests. I used my stipend to support summer research/field work for my Master’s thesis in Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. ESL Instructor, Coordinator Community Impact November 2009 – May 2010 (7 months)

Taught, produced curriculum for low-income immigrant adults to promote family literacy, independence, communication skills, and confidence I taught and produced curriculum for literacy class for parents and their children to foster a supportive and safe learning environment. I also coordinated the budget for field trips, books, arts & crafts materials and healthy snacks for Family Literacy to build an interactive classroom community.

I actively engaged in a training workshop on the INEE Minimum Standards to effectively engage in research, analysis and evaluation of USAID’s scholarship program (SEED) in Honduras in March 2010.

I edited news website to correct grammatical errors. I also translated articles from English to Spanish (July 2008 – July 2009) to reach a global audience. ESL Instructor BCM Pyeongchon August 2008 – March 2009 (8 months)

I created, developed and presented English language and culture lessons to educate Korean adults. I also edited student resumes and school documents to open international opportunities.

Thanks for the link Ben. I had a quick scan but will read it properly later. Interesting they correlated it to the passport break-in and subsequent murder. It’s also similar, in a way, to the Invisible Children Kony movie.

Did he have to be so muffled up? I mean a coat over the head covering the face would have been enough, right? Sam Basile was/is a VP of big time games not unlike the IT guy Smith (RIP) but there didn’t seem to be a link between their game corporations. I believe the game conglomerate Smith used was probably a CIA thing...Samantha has a history of compiling and producing videos and she works for a Soros conglomerate which, in turn, works closely with the UN, ICC, CIA and State Department. She’s low in the chain but who knows...just throwing it out there...
